The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary 317

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 27 of our latest lock down. This morning the neighbourhood is cold with the winter freeze but soon we will experience the death of winter and the birth of spring, but also this morning in Ballinwillin we mourn the death and passing of Joe Mulcahy our neighbour, a legend in the music business and a founding member of the famous Maurice Mulcahy Band. A band that gave huge enjoyment to thousands of people worldwide. This morning our prayers are with his family, friends and neighbours. Now destiny calls Joe to a place of music where his trumpet will sound again for all our spiritual enjoyment, where his heart will always remain generous, all heavenly doors will open to his musical light as you now quietly befriend your death and you have no need to fear. You are among your own orchestra in the big band with your pure white suit you are now equal to your destiny and nearer to Earths heart. Rest in peace Joe. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 720

True hope is divine, it is beyond most of our dreams, our expectations, our imaginations. It is the voice to be who and what we are not. Just like the snowdrops, daffodils and bluebells before spring preparing to emerge from the cold soil

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. It is another beautiful, amazing and sunny Sunday morning here this morning and with all that is going on around the world such as the Corona virus and the war in the Ukraine, a morning like this morning gives us hope. We are all praying for an end to these two wars and we pray and hope for an end to all conflict in the world. When we have real and true hope it is different, it is beyond the imaginable. True hope is divine, it is beyond most of our dreams, our expectations, our imaginations. It is the voice to be who and what we are not. Just like the snowdrops, daffodils and bluebells before spring preparing to emerge from the cold soil, like babies in the womb, urging slowly, surely forward, forming always and waiting even more. We must all have this hope on a beautiful and amazing sunny Sunday and we must pray for this hope for all people who are suffering now, wherever in the world. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 719

Thanks for everything Dad and remember that no matter how life changes, no matter what we do, a special place within our hearts is always kept for you.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. This day, March 5th, will always be a special day to remember. On this day 18 years ago my Dad passed on to his eternal and spiritual reward. Today I will spend much of my time in the fields and gardens in his spiritual company and discussing all relevant issues. He worked and loved the land in his own quiet, consistent way. He was always gentle but firm and there was always a climate of kindness around him. His presence was like a sheltering oak tree. He understood the earth, the land and the earth trusted him. Today, together in our fields of distance we walk together, we talk together, we pray together. At times there were many things we could have said but words were never wanted. We always quietly sensed that in each others heart there was an inner companion. Thanks for everything Dad and remember that no matter how life changes, no matter what we do, a special place within our hearts is always kept for you. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 597

She waits for me at night, she waits for me in silence. She gives me all her tenderness and takes my pain away. She still believes in miracles while others cry in vain. It's all about the soul.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Yesterday was All Saints Day and last night we celebrated All Souls Day. There was always a belief among our people that All Souls Night was a night the dead revisited their homes and their people. To honour this custom we leave lit candles outside our homes to welcome them back and guide them in our direction for our future protection. It was also a custom to leave out some food and wine as refreshments for them and we will continue this custom at Ballinwillin House this year and every year. It makes me feel happy, warm and protected to be in their company, a soul within souls. She waits for me at night, she waits for me in silence. She gives me all her tenderness and takes my pain away. She still believes in miracles while others cry in vain. It's all about the soul. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, health and blessings to all who need it and wear your Sunday smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 596

Today is the day for visiting the graves of our loved ones who have passed. It is celebrated in West Limerick and Celtic times from sunset on October 31st to sunset on November 1st. It is a day of prayer for those who have died and also a celebration to continue the strong spiritual bond between those in heaven and those on earth.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. It was with mixed emotions that we visited the resting places yesterday and placed flowers to light up and reignite the bond between us and them. On our return last night we had a celebratory meal to remember all and to welcome all our past ancestors back to the family table. It was a most powerful experience and always is in our home. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, health and blessings to all who need it and wear your Sunday smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 340

Hospital gives you the time to think beyond the ordinary and to think about life and lifes happenings but oftentimes our worst experiences in life can be our best teachers. Healing fulfillment and freedom comes from our ability to choose our response to whatever life brings us and in particular suffering. Freedom is a lifetime practice and the wonderful thing is that we get that choice again and again each day. True freedom comes from hope and hope for the future and an awareness that suffering, however severe, is only temporary and that we have the will and curiosity to discover what happens next.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome once more to my daily blog from my hospital bed on day 50 of our latest lock down. The sun is shining through my window of wonder as I gaze out over Clonmel town and follow on up to the top of the beautiful Commeragh mountains that are dotted with houses and distant farms. I notice no cattle or sheep on the land, the fields vary from very long rectangular to all shapes and sizes that are beautifully landscaped by the great art of the Lord almighty. Hope allows us to live in the present instead of the past and the ability to unlock doors of our mental pureness and never, ever stop choosing love and hope. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need in including The Mindful Farmer and remember to keep smiling.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 227

Gandhi put it well when he said “be the change you want to be in life, be the change you want to see in the world”. If when you wake up in the morning and you take your 3 minutes to set yourself up for the day, if inside you there is only joy, peace and happiness then it doesn’t matter who puts pressure on you

Good morning everyone and welcome to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 7 into our new lock down. Gandhi put it well when he said “be the change you want to be in life, be the change you want to see in the world”. If when you wake up in the morning and you take your 3 minutes to set yourself up for the day, if inside you there is only joy, peace and happiness then it doesn’t matter who puts pressure on you or tries to stress you out or squeezes you in any way or pushes your buttons, all they will get is peace, joy and happiness and unconditional love. Why? Because that is what is within you and it will shine through. Have a great day and a mindful day. Continue to pray, bless and send healing to each other and wear your smile.
