The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary 317

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 27 of our latest lock down. This morning the neighbourhood is cold with the winter freeze but soon we will experience the death of winter and the birth of spring, but also this morning in Ballinwillin we mourn the death and passing of Joe Mulcahy our neighbour, a legend in the music business and a founding member of the famous Maurice Mulcahy Band. A band that gave huge enjoyment to thousands of people worldwide. This morning our prayers are with his family, friends and neighbours. Now destiny calls Joe to a place of music where his trumpet will sound again for all our spiritual enjoyment, where his heart will always remain generous, all heavenly doors will open to his musical light as you now quietly befriend your death and you have no need to fear. You are among your own orchestra in the big band with your pure white suit you are now equal to your destiny and nearer to Earths heart. Rest in peace Joe. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your smile.

When people go on a RetrEat I find it always awakens their spirit of adventure where they hold nothing back, where they find ease in risk and it it pleases God they will soon be at home to a new rhythm where their souls can sense the world that awaits them.

Good morning all and welcome to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. On this beautiful Sunday morning as I sit here in the gardens I give solomn thanks for the gift of this beautiful morning and for the wonderful people I met on our RetrEat yesterday. It filled me with joy to interact in such a beautiful and wonderful way with beautiful people. May God bless them always and mind them on their journey. When people go on a RetrEat I find it always awakens their spirit of adventure where they hold nothing back, where they find ease in risk and it it pleases God they will soon be at home to a new rhythm where their souls can sense the world that awaits them. For those of us who are fortunite enough to experience this love in life through whatever source, we should treasure this feeling of calm and peace that it brings to our life and will have a hugely positive influence in our lives.

Good morning all and welcome to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Earlier this morning as I left the house to walk the fields and check the animals, my faithful friend Marley, our golden retrever, was at the door waiting for me and wagging his tail of 1000 welcomes. I though to myself, what a wonderful thing unconditional love is. For those of us who are fortunite enough to experience this love in life through whatever source, we should treasure this feeling of calm and peace that it brings to our life and will have a hugely positive influence in our lives. It will allow pleasant emotions and loving feelings to radiate out from us and have a very positive effect on everyone we meet during the day. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.

Close your eyes for a moment or two, sit in your garden of imagery, smell the roses, listen to the water flowing in the nearby stream, smell the fragrance of the nearby meadow grass. Listen to the birds and their lofty chorus and feel the warm sunshine beam down on you. It is beaming happiness, health, peace and hope into your body and mind. Sit here in your garden of imagery for as long as you can and as often as you can

Good morning everyone and welcome to the fantastic views from my window of wonder. As you can see from my post today, the view from my window of wonder at Ballinwillin House this morning is amazing and beautiful and the intoxicating perfumous fragrances are blissfully filling our nostrils with happiness and peace. I am in tranquillity land. Isn’t that such a wonderful and peaceful word? Picture yourself in your tranquil scene or garden this morning even in your minds eye if you are not near a garden. Sit here in your garden of imagery for as long as you can and as often as you can and always wear your smile. Todays smile is one for Friday. Have a beautiful, mindful, peaceful day.

What a wonderful way to spend the day, out in the fresh air and watching the dust rise with the air as we turn the hay and the amazing fragrance in the meadow, the whole family in the fields, three generations.

Good morning everyone and welcome to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. It is a beautiful summers morning here and I am so grateful for the fine weather and immediately after breakfast we will be off turning hay for the entire day. What a wonderful way to spend the day, out in the fresh air and watching the dust rise with the air as we turn the hay and the amazing fragrance in the meadow, the whole family in the fields, three generations. One could ask the question - how do you really find peace in a world where distress and anxiety have become the norm? Well the answer at Ballinwillin today is to go out into the meadow and you will find peace to discover yourself and be with yourself and your family and live in the now where the sun is dancing in the sky and we can feel Mother Earth moving in rhythm with our thoughts and feelings. This is true peace which is only available when we know God. So today, continue to pray for Gods peace and send blessings and healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Thursday smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 820

Above all on this beautiful and new morning may we all have the courage to live the life that we would love, to postpone our dreams no longer, but to do at last what we came here for and waste our hearts on fear no more.

A morning offering by The Mindful Farmer.

1. I give thanks for the gifts of the new day.

I give thanks for the ghosts of longing that have set my hounds of dreaming free.

Free the dream. Wander and harvest from the dark. Only for me to see, to see.

2. All that is alive in me welcomes the wonder and arrival of this new day. The frame of vision only through my window of wonder I can see, yet I offer to you to arise, illuminate and appreciate.

3. I give thanks at dawn for my quiet loyalty of breath, the soft grass I tread barefoot on, the sweet morning dew I wash my face with. Loving learnt from the heart of my dear Mam, Liz and all other beauty that my eyes can feast on.

4. We can all come alive today to the visible from the invisible and to all the new frontiers, to break the dead shells of yesterday and to always risk the chance of being disturbed and changed. As we change we grow and as we grow we change.

5. Above all on this beautiful and new morning may we all have the courage to live the life that we would love, to postpone our dreams no longer, but to do at last what we came here for and waste our hearts on fear no more. May God bless you all and keep you safe in the fold of yours and our ancestral angels.

Isn't it wonderful that there are people out there that are praying for us, wishing us well and sheltering us from the blistering winds of life and who, without us even knowing it, lighten our pain and suffering each day. We can all be a part of this great train that pray for each other, bless each other, send healing, peace and hope

Good morning and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. It is the start of another week. Yes we are grateful and are giving thanks and we will give ourselves the very best chance to have the very best day, the best week, of our lives. Very early this morning I received a message from a friend of mine. My friend was wishing all her friends well and she was wishing them to be safe for the day and the week ahead. Now, this message filled my heart with hope and strength for the day. Isn't it wonderful that there are people out there that are praying for us, wishing us well and sheltering us from the blistering winds of life and who, without us even knowing it, lighten our pain and suffering each day. We can all be a part of this great train that pray for each other, bless each other, send healing, peace and hope to each other and make our world an even better place to live. Don't forget to wear your Monday smile.

We know you are closer now than you could ever have been on earth, making us realise that we are never alone and that your soul in its brightness connects, illuminates and guides all your beloved here on earth. Your life was treasured here on earth and now you can help us all enter and live in eternal tranquility and peace here on earth.

Good morning and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. June 12th will always be in our minds here at Ballinwillin House. On this date, seventeen years ago, Maureen Hedigan, Miriam's mam, passed away to her spiritual home in heaven. She was a beautiful lady, mother, grandmother and another mother to me. Her ways were peaceful, her words were wise and her cooking phenomenal. We know you are closer now than you could ever have been on earth, making us realise that we are never alone and that your soul in its brightness connects, illuminates and guides all your beloved here on earth. Your life was treasured here on earth and now you can help us all enter and live in eternal tranquility and peace here on earth. We will always hold you in our thoughts and prayers warmly and lovingly. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Sunday best smile.

Our dreams should inhabit the great belonging, the embrace of God and His Holy family and our families await us all. May the wild beauty of the invisible gather us all linto one eternal family.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. This morning as I gaze out my window of wonder I give praise and thanks for the new day and the night that once again nourished my heart. I immediately thank the three fantastic friends who have passed on from this earth to join their ancestors. Absence is always alive and from time to time these three keep coming back to talk with me and I know in their hidden presence nothing is ever lost or forgotten. We must be generous in our embrace of loss and let the painful well of grief slide into a seamless flow of presence. We must be gracious and passionate and not disrespect the misery of false belonging. Our dreams should inhabit the great belonging, the embrace of God and His Holy family and our families await us all. May the wild beauty of the invisible gather us all into one eternal family. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.

It takes time for a beautiful relationship to develop. It takes time for us all to be surprised by a beautiful sunset or a dawn chorus but what is most important in all our daily happinings is the kind word.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. We often learn and hear about people who are having difficulty maintaining friendship. Much comes down to trust and being able to trust each other and in doing so you open your heart and reveal yourself. The bonds of friendship are openness, kindness, love, a willingness to listen , to respond peacefully and gain mutual acceptance of trust and mutual self disclosure. Grand Uncle Jack would say that a friend is a single soul living in two bodies. It takes time for a beautiful relationship to develop. It takes time for us all to be surprised by a beautiful sunset or a dawn chorus but what is most important in all our daily happinings is the kind word. When we are not noticing what is around us we are blind to the beauty and love, we are not truly alive

Good morning and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Early on this wet Summer morning as I went out the back door of the house Marley, our beautiful Golden Retriever was waiting patiently for me. Obviously I wasn't giving him attention and he started barking profusely and started wagging his tail like the propeller of a helicopter. Then I got his message, stopped what I was doing, gave him his usual rubbing down and hug and then love and peace was witnessed by both of us. Marley was giving me a clear message. I was not noticing him apparently. When we are not noticing what is around us we are blind to the beauty and love, we are not truly alive and very often cynicism can replace our sense of surprise. We must always have an ear and an eye for the beauty created by the divine. So today, see that beauty and hear its sound and your soul will come alive. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Wednesday smile.

As we grow and go through life our development depends hugely on the impact of others, their advice, their friendship, their love. We live when we share these qualities with like minded, like spirited, like hearted people.

Good morning and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. This morning as I sit here in silence and in a very pensive and relaxed mood I give thanks for the wonderful and beautiful company of friendship we have experienced over the past few days. I then thought that we live and love each other's company for a reason. Each of us have unique gifts but they are only enjoyable if we share them. As we grow and go through life our development depends hugely on the impact of others, their advice, their friendship, their love. We live when we share these qualities with like minded, like spirited, like hearted people. Ultimately, we are shaped and fashioned by who and what we love. Where there is love the harshness of experience is softened. So today, lets share with others all of the above and continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Tuesday smile.

We have many choices and they all fit into an overall, complex plan world wide, a divine plan but what we can do now and immediately is just sit for a while, rest, see and think how beautiful it all is.

Good morning and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. This morning I returned from the fields having visited all of the animals and checked on their well being. As I walked along by the hedges I was showered by confetti from the whitethorn and hawthorn bushes it was almost like a shower of crystal white snow with dotted fragrant centers. I thought to myself - how lucky are we in this beautiful little country of ours and our environmental niche and climate that we are so lucky to have. We are showered with amazing trees, plants and flowers that create this amazing environment. Then I think about the relationship I have with this environment, the relationship with the animals, the insects, the plants and all their medical properties. What a wonderful effect they have on us or can have on us if we are awake. We have many choices and they all fit into an overall, complex plan world wide, a divine plan but what we can do now and immediately is just sit for a while, rest, see and think how beautiful it all is. It can work for us all. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Monday smile.

We can only achieve real growth when we look through different windows that await our gaze. When we do so we can see new vistas of possibilities, presence and creativity.

Good morning and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. I often refer to my window of wonder and each morning I look out a different window and I thank God for this opportunity and vision. Sadly, many people are trapped at the one window and every day look at the same scene in the same way. We can only achieve real growth when we look through different windows that await our gaze. When we do so we can see new vistas of possibilities, presence and creativity. Complacency, habit and blindness often prevent us from feeling and being in our life. So much depends on our frame of vision through the window we look. The soul loves risk and it is only through the window of risk that true growth can enter. I am so fortunate that each morning that I gaze through my window of wonder I see nature all about me and it is luminous, numerous and its presence has depth, possibility and beauty. May God's blessing cloak us this beautiful Sunday and every day. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Sunday smile.

if only we treated everyone and everything with the same respect and reverence that I show in my gardens and farm to my flowers and animals. What a  beautiful world we would have.

Good morning and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. I have just returned from my morning mindful visit to the gardens. They are looking spectacular at the moment. The arrangement, the seating, the resting places are all adorned by roses, rhodes, camellias and lilacs. It is almost perfect in my eyes and I usually sit for a while and I thought if only we treated everyone and everything with the same respect and reverence that I show in my gardens and farm to my flowers and animals. What a beautiful world we would have. Yes it is possible and then we live and settle into our surrounding beauty and nature. Next my attention was brought to the busy bees that were drawn to the perfume of my roses. Next was the birds chorus. All members in full attention. All their varied notes filled the air around me.

Good morning and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. In my morning walks through the fields and in the gardens there are many things to admire about nature but what caught my eye this morning was the baby red deer prancing around in happiness. Next my attention was brought to the busy bees that were drawn to the perfume of my roses. Next was the birds chorus. All members in full attention. All their varied notes filled the air around me. As I continued to walk it seemed like this was all for me but nature of all sorts is available for us all. Go outside and enjoy. It is there in the evening, it is there in the morning and it is there when we come without warning. Inhale it. Listen to it. See it. Good morning and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. This morning as I gaze out my window of wonder I see the beautiful Atlantic waves rolling in, sliding over the gray rocks and then tumbling back to peace again. This is a beautiful place of peace and tranquility and helps any strain in me to come to ease. It is wonderful to experience the privilege of peace, be it for a minute, an hour or longer if possible but suddenly now my peace is destroyed by a loud ignorant man, an American man on his phone. How can he not see that I am writing at my table. Prayer breaks out but he insists on talking to America about the price of cheap wine even though he has two miles of beach to wander on. I feel I am being involved but I am lucky enough to be able to move on, not all of us can move when thunder and noise strikes. All I ask from everyone this morning is to have respect for others in all surroundings. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Thursday smile.

When we are shown respect, acknowledged and affirmed our confidence grows irrespective of our age. Our big challenge in this life is to encourage, help and love others into living and performing to their fullest potential but above all, to grow to their full beauty.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. This has been a very, very busy time for The Mindful Farmer and I have learned a lot from the way people acknowledge, accept, appreciate and believe in us. When we are shown respect, acknowledged and affirmed our confidence grows irrespective of our age. Our big challenge in this life is to encourage, help and love others into living and performing to their fullest potential but above all, to grow to their full beauty. We only have to open our hearts and minds to the gratuitousness of the world around us to find and appreciate beauty and joy

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. Well, The Mindful Farmer is both sad and glad for the ending of this amazing month of May. Sad because it is ending and glad because my family and I have enjoyed the fruits of May flowers, sun, beautiful animals being born and much more. We only have to open our hearts and minds to the gratuitousness of the world around us to find and appreciate beauty and joy. It is all there around us, we don't have to stew for it. Grand Uncle Jack would say "The wise man does not strive. If you work on your mind with your mind you can avoid immense confusion." Very wise words. All the colours of the rainbow and all the shapes of the large succulent leaves and every time I looked at it I saw a different picture, only the frame remained the same.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. We have had two days of amazing sunshine here and we are very grateful for this as it paints a beautiful picture everywhere. Last evening as I was out for a walk the sun was casting a shadow through the gates at our entrance and the resulting shadow was like a painting drawn by an artist. All the colours of the rainbow and all the shapes of the large succulent leaves and every time I looked at it I saw a different picture, only the frame remained the same. The sun was lending its brilliance in so many different ways and this leaves us undiminished and definitely makes us shine brighter. So today, radiate some of those soaked up rays to those around you and continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Monday smile.
