The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 468

Good afternoon everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. The Mindful Farmer was travelling a long distance yesterday with his jeep and trailer and got a complete breakdown electrically with my Hilux. I called up my friend in the area and within 10 minutes he was there with his jeep, hooked up my trailer and got my jeep taken into a local garage. I meet this friend maybe four times a year but I recalled the old saying "a friend in need is a friend indeed." My Mom gave me a note when I was a child and I still remember its lines "he who is a friend will help you when you are in need. If in sorrow, he will weep, if you wake he will not sleep and for every grief of heart he will bear his part" and of course he can also mean she and maybe more so. When I would read this note my Mam would say that it is important to know a faithful friend from a flattering foe. She would then say there are signs to know. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it.
