The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 1163

Good morning everyone and welcome to The Mindful Farmers thoughts for the day. During the night and in early morning I noticed my mind was reaching too far during meditation. The mind can travel furiously fast over time and journeys oftentimes uselessly triggering anxiety so we need to slow it down. Grand Uncle Jack used to say while sitting in the field "the mind is like an old crow." It gathers old twigs and cast away pieces and bring them back to fill the vacancy between branches of an old tree then fixes and entwines them around this emptiness to make a nest. The crow does all this with patience, time and in silence. It is amazing work really, gathering what was fallen withered and lost to make a nest full of dreams for the future. It is up to us all to learn from the crow and build our dreams for the future on past experiences, park them, learn from them and dream on. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope and love to all and wear your Tuesday smile.
