The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 1192

Good morning everyone and welcome to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. It is June 21st, Summer Solstice, a day when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky and daylight lasts the longest making it the longest day of the year. It is always a special day and should be celebrated always. Growing up in West Limerick we always celebrated this day with music, song and dance late into the night. It was celebrated in thanksgiving. Timing and dates were and still are very important. Time can be a protector as we are frail creatures and can only realistically handle twenty four hours at a time otherwise we will become a tyrant ticking away relentlessly in our minds. We must learn the art of mastering time or it will master us. Everything has its season and the good thing about seasons is that they always return. Now, that is comforting so lets enjoy this special day and master time and continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope and love to all and wear your Summer Solstice smile.
