The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 1246

Good morning everyone and welcome to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. Very early this morning my peace was thunderingly shattered. It was a beautiful thing. Our two grandchildren Ada and JJ burst through the door and landed on me like they had dropped from a parachute. Their energy was boundless and their kindness and love came quickly to blossom. Where are we going GrandPat as they call me and what are we doing? So on with their wellies and coats, we collected their two green wheelbarrows and off to the wood to collect kindling to keep GrandPat warm for the winter. It was a beautiful experience and when they are back in Australia I'm sure their minds will think of this day and their work with their little hands will rekindle this special memory while also rekindling my special memory of this day. Over the coming winter their little acts of love will warm my heart where the kindling their hands picked will not only warm my body but my heart also and their kindness will come into blossom and cause my life to flame in the name of fire, light, love and God.
