The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 1052

Good morning everyone and welcome to a beautiful St. Brigid's day. It brings back memories every year of days gone by in West Limerick when this day was always celebrated as the beginning of spring. It signalled an end to the dark winter and welcomed the beginning of spring, hope and growth. We cut the rushes and made several St. Brigid's crosses. These were hung on doors of the house and in the animal sheds to protect them from evil and fire. She was also associated with wisdom, poetry, healing and protection of animals. She will always be remembered as an Irish goddess, for her unwavering trust in God and for bringing peace to those who suffer from anxiety. So, we have a lot to learn from her and we have a lot to do to believe in her faith. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope, love and happiness to all and wear your Wednesday smile.
