The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 390

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 100 of our latest lock down. This morning I am coming to you from the fields. It is a beautiful Spring morning here at Ballinwillin House Farm and from now on The Mindful Farmer will do his best to do his lives outside depending on the weather and the self being. This morning as you can see I am with the much famed Biffo, our master wild boar stud. He is now with his long standing girlfriend Lulu and a new, young female called Lilly. They are just mating now and we only mate the wild boar once a year in fine weather and in season. As I have often said before "animals know this world better than we ever did, or do or will." They have a relaxed and seamless presence and they always seem to rest in the here and now and engrain themselves deep in the soil. They can feel the earth breathing with them and I believe we can learn a lot from them and learn to feel the earth breathing with us.
