The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 573

Good morning everyone and welcome back to The Mindful Farmers daily blog. As a child, I grew up in a wonderful, very rural area of west Limerick. In the evening, after milking the cows, I would walk up to the fields with the cows and then sit on the bank of the river that ran through the land. I would rest, dream and pray and I still do this as mindfulness. I remember back to when I was light years old when I began this process. Most of what I dreamt about and prayed for has come through in a great life and that is why I often refer to "looking at the world with childlike wonder". The wonder that we experience as a child stays with us forever if we listen to it. It beats with our heart and is very deep, so deep we can draw on its treasures all our life. I marvel when I hold the hands of my little grandchildren and watch them dream as they walk along with me on the farm. We often sit and rest and I watch them speak in silence as we share these precious moments of "unconditional love". I wonder what dreams they are making with their "childlike wonder". This is a short reply to a very beautiful question and I could write pages on it but that's enough for now. as I continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.
