The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary 317

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 27 of our latest lock down. This morning the neighbourhood is cold with the winter freeze but soon we will experience the death of winter and the birth of spring, but also this morning in Ballinwillin we mourn the death and passing of Joe Mulcahy our neighbour, a legend in the music business and a founding member of the famous Maurice Mulcahy Band. A band that gave huge enjoyment to thousands of people worldwide. This morning our prayers are with his family, friends and neighbours. Now destiny calls Joe to a place of music where his trumpet will sound again for all our spiritual enjoyment, where his heart will always remain generous, all heavenly doors will open to his musical light as you now quietly befriend your death and you have no need to fear. You are among your own orchestra in the big band with your pure white suit you are now equal to your destiny and nearer to Earths heart. Rest in peace Joe. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 196

Being Sunday, and a day of rest, I will be spending much of the day playing with the adorable grandchildren and then in the evening time I plan to write some programs for our RetrEats and mindfulness and yoga classes beginning October 5th 2020. The response has been brilliant and we look forward to welcoming people back to the RetrEats at Ballinwillin House Farm and gardens.

Another Sunday morning. Another beautiful morning in September. -3 degrees there this morning and walking barefoot on the grass makes you very mindful of what is going on beneath the earths surface. But being Sunday, and a day of rest, I will be spending much of the day playing with the adorable grandchildren and then in the evening time I plan to write some programs for our RetrEats and mindfulness and yoga classes beginning October 5th 2020. The response has been brilliant and we look forward to welcoming people back to the RetrEats at Ballinwillin House Farm and gardens. When I think of retreats I believe the greatest gift we can give to another human being is our full attention and to do this we must be detached and at peace, fully at peace with oneself. At RetrEat we can be truly and fully present in the now and my work is to ensure that those present are in the now in comfort and are being nourished with unconditional advice, attention and love. We all need one anothers presence to move forward together in order to fulfill our full potential and we will do just that in the three gardens of Mindfulness, Meditation and Forgiveness. So for today, join in with me on this beautiful Sunday and we pray together in mind and send blessings and healing to each other and we all wear our special Sunday smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 128

Life can be like a bright torch and we only get to hold it for a brief while but while we hold it our aim must be to make it burn as brightly as possible before we hand it over to the next generation.

Good morning everyone and welcome to Ballinwillin House Farm and gardens on day 23 out of lock down. It is a beautiful Tuesday morning. Well yesterday we began back with our first retreats and it was wonderful to be back healing people and meditating with people and the retreats at Ballinwillin House Farm was the perfect thing to look forward to now that we are back to the now and new normal. The theme for our retreat yesterday was “compassion”. Compassion is not an end in itself but part of our journey in life. We must listen more, judge less, we must loosen our opinion of self and its models and now we must begin to recognise the essence of each person we meet. Compassion gradually becomes an offering. First to those who we are with but also to God. Helping becomes an art of reverence, worship and gratitude. Life can be like a bright torch and we only get to hold it for a brief while but while we hold it our aim must be to make it burn as brightly as possible before we hand it over to the next generation. Retreats will now continue via prior daily/hourly appointments to The Mindful Farmers website. Continue to bless, pray and send healing to each other and wear that smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 102

I will be spending a lot of my time on retreat on the farm and in the gardens where I plan to retreat and reconnect with nature. I will also be opening up for you to come on retreat and join with me to celebrate and join in thanksgiving for our survival during this very trying time.

Good morning everyone and welcome to Ballinwillin House Farm on day 102 of lock down on the farm, gardens and B+B. Today is St. Johns Day. On Monday next, June 29th, we hope to open up again for business on a limited manner until we see how things go and during that week I will be spending a lot of my time on retreat on the farm and in the gardens where I plan to retreat and reconnect with nature. I will also be opening up for you to come on retreat and join with me to celebrate and join in thanksgiving for our survival during this very trying time. In one way it is easy to retreat in lock down because you don’t have much distractions but it is another challenge to go on retreat when you are free to do many other things in your life. So now let us call for a new life awakening and to call out for a new freedom so that your heart may know the patience that can draw infinity from our limitations. May we allow time to give way to a deeper generosity so that from this day forward we will always feel a new spring time and may all that holds you fall from its hungry ledge into the second surge of your heart.

Continue to pray, bless and heal each other and wear that smile.
