The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 842

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. Grand Uncle Jack used to say "never live too long where you can be reached." This was another one of his wisdom quotations which can have a deep and meaningful wisdom. Back in the day in West Limerick people always took time out where they would visit friends or relations either on foot or by cycling. Not many cars in those days just the chosen and wealthy few. When people let their home to go to and take time out they journied for miles, taking in the scenery and beauty of nature, stopped talking to people along the way and paid attention to the people they were visiting with, no distractions. They were in the now and that is where you want to be when you are in anothers company. In these times people hadn't much material wealth but they had plenty of time for reflection and philosophising. They were always interested in each other and interesting to listen to too. They walked and talked their secret paths and could only be reached when they wanted to be. I believe we can all take a lesson from these great people, our wise ancestors. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Wednesday smile.
