The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 451

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. When we first purchased Ballinwillin House Farm we had a lot of work to do in order to bring it back to life and we set about our work diligently where the hands of The Mindful Farmer had first to work creating clearences in the earths thickets, cutting into the thorns of wild briar and forest, uprooting clusters of wild brush and shrub, digging out loose rocks until fields emerged again. I then loosened and softened the clay where seeds could bring forth crops and grass again and then the harvests gathered again and again with golden corn and honey scented hay. Now the fields have become presences where the farm and gardens can trust the warm and true intentions of the farmers heart, hands and mind to form a domain of shelter and nourishment for all to enjoy.
