The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 518

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Today, 15th August, was always a very special day back home in West Limerick and still is today and we celebrate our lady, Mother Mary, by visiting Holy wells around the countryside. Today I will visit the well just down the road from where I was born and raised. As well as being the feast of the assumption of the virgin Mary there are many fairs and markets all over Ireland. Our little tradition has a great respect for the blessing with holy water from the blessed well and today I will take my bottles with me and fill them up and I will have my supply for the year. This tradition fills our hearts, make us the people we are and our minds will warm to the refined sense of occasion where there are blessings for everyone. So for today, on this great feast day, let us pray for all great mothers, past and present and pray for, bless and power healing to all those who need it and wear your Sunday smile.
