The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary 317

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 27 of our latest lock down. This morning the neighbourhood is cold with the winter freeze but soon we will experience the death of winter and the birth of spring, but also this morning in Ballinwillin we mourn the death and passing of Joe Mulcahy our neighbour, a legend in the music business and a founding member of the famous Maurice Mulcahy Band. A band that gave huge enjoyment to thousands of people worldwide. This morning our prayers are with his family, friends and neighbours. Now destiny calls Joe to a place of music where his trumpet will sound again for all our spiritual enjoyment, where his heart will always remain generous, all heavenly doors will open to his musical light as you now quietly befriend your death and you have no need to fear. You are among your own orchestra in the big band with your pure white suit you are now equal to your destiny and nearer to Earths heart. Rest in peace Joe. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your smile.

We are all aware that wherever water flows, life flourishes and wherever tears fall we all need to be ready to help and show divine mercy to those in need of comfort.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. The weather has changed here today, grey and raining heavily so are we complaining as it rains from the heavens? We all need water and in every planet, in every aspect of life, to drink, to wash, it's importance cannot be overstated. We are all aware that wherever water flows, life flourishes and wherever tears fall we all need to be ready to help and show divine mercy to those in need of comfort. So today, continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it. As I sit here and listen to the rain drops on this canvas roof I feel relaxed and at peace. To all of you out there today, relax and listen to the rain drops and wear your Thursday smile.

Each moment is all we need, all we dare to ask our creator for. Nothing more. When appropriate, hug someone you love and power your blessings and healing through them.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Today, all we dare to ask is that we all live in the moment. Take three deep breaths. Our breathing will ground us all. Enjoy three deep, conscious breaths to bring yourself fully into the present moment. Now be happy in this moment, that's enough. Each moment is all we need, all we dare to ask our creator for. Nothing more. When appropriate, hug someone you love and power your blessings and healing through them. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Tuesday smile.

The birds I hear this morning are singing and dancing and putting on a performance as if it was their act. There is a world of amazing connectedness here at Ballinwillin between the birds, the animals, the earth itself and of course ourselves. We all need to learn more about how to be content at home in our own place and most importantly in our own company.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. We can best do this by taking time out daily to be alone in peace and silence and the more we know ourselves the more we see our contentment with others. So for today, on this beautiful Tuesday, take a little time to connect yourself to nature, the birds in peace and continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Tuesday smile.

As I gaze out my window of wonder I give thanks for this day as I arise. I bless the night that warmed my heart and now my soul will harvest from the dark.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Early this morning as I sat meditating I thought that I would write my own morning prayer to begin my days with and for others to enjoy. It goes as follows:-

To begin the day by Patrick J Mulcahy, The Mindful Farmer

As I gaze out my window of wonder I give thanks for this day as I arise. I bless the night that warmed my heart and now my soul will harvest from the dark.

With all my being I welcome the wonder of this day, offering time and trial for each task. That gives me the opportunity to arise, go forth and illuminate.

All that I breathe today I offer up to the after of heaven. The gift of a beautiful and wonderful family. I give thanks for the beauty and honour my friends bestow me.

I give thanks for my surrounding beauty, the beauty and aroma of these gardens. The beauty, smell and being of my wild animal friends. I pray that they all come alive with me today and I look forward to the invisible that awaits me and you in the paradise of heaven and I crave the arrival of new frontiers.

I reverently pray for the courage and holiness to live the life that we would love, to postpone our dreams no longer but to do at last what we came here for and waste our hearts on fear no more.

Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it. Be mindful, be caring and wear your Monday smile.

My prayer for her and her family is that her spiritual beauty and warmth will wrap around them all at this time and may the angels and their beauty bless you all and turn your words of grief into a source of refreshment and contentment.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Another beautiful Sunday here at Ballinwillin House and I must revert again to The Late Late show on Friday night and in particular to the tribute to my fellow Limerick person Delores O'Riordan who has sadly passed and would be celebrating her 50th birthday this weekend if she was still with us. She was an amazing young woman, so brilliantly talented but now her voice soars high above us all. Long live her amazingly unique voice. She is now free but her gifts rain down on us daily. My prayer for her and her family is that her spiritual beauty and warmth will wrap around them all at this time and may the angels and their beauty bless you all and turn your words of grief into a source of refreshment and contentment.Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it. Be mindful, be caring and wear your Sunday smile.

we must allow all individuals to freely express who they really are and to live every day with the courage to live the life that we would love, to postpone our dreams no longer but to do at last what we came here for and waste our hearts on fear no more.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Last night I was watching The Late Late show and Ryan Tubridy was interviewing Boy George. I must admit that I was very impressed with what Boy George said. His message was that we should allow ourselves permission to be who we are. I would like to take that a little further and say that as a nation, we must allow all individuals to freely express who they really are and to live every day with the courage to live the life that we would love, to postpone our dreams no longer but to do at last what we came here for and waste our hearts on fear no more. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it. Be mindful, be caring and wear your Saturday smile.

When we look back over the year and all our work, toil and strife combined with all the seeds of earth and life that we have planted, showered them with love, hope and courage then we have watched them grow, flourish and blossom.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. I always associate this day, the first of September, with the first day of Autumn and the celebration of the harvest on the Meitheal. It is the time of year when we give thanks for the fruits of our harvest and thank Mother Nature for her goodness. When we look back over the year and all our work, toil and strife combined with all the seeds of earth and life that we have planted, showered them with love, hope and courage then we have watched them grow, flourish and blossom. Then the harvest, the fruits of life, we now see the interconnectedness with the whole garden of life and rejoice that we are all part of this amazing and beautiful universe that has been created for us all to enjoy and respect. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Wednesday smile.

It is important for us all to have that sense of playfulness and none better than children to show us the way. We all need to play like a child with spontaneous celebration.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Another Monday and the beginning of yet another week. We give thanks this morning for the gift of life, the gift of light and the gift of this beautiful, sunny weather. This morning what gave me particular joy was the playfulness of our two beautiful grandchildren as they played and laughed with abandon before going to creche. It is important for us all to have that sense of playfulness and none better than children to show us the way. We all need to play like a child with spontaneous celebration. So for today, live out a little piece of the child in you and have a beautiful, restful, mindful day and continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Monday smile.

My prayers today are also for all daughters and sons in exile and for the softening and erasing of the pain of their loved ones.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Another beautiful day here at Ballinwillin House. Another sunny Sunday but a day where the beautiful sunshine is clouded by the absence of our darling daughter who left for work in the far distant lands of Abu Dhabi. Another dear daughter is celebrating her birthday with us, so very mixed emotions. My prayers this Sunday are for the safe passage of our now exiled daughter and that her soft, loving presence will be sweetly remembered until her return will fill our kitchen once more with her soft, pleasant glow. My prayers today are also for all daughters and sons in exile and for the softening and erasing of the pain of their loved ones. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Sunday smile.

It also helps our relationships in every aspect of our life. Continue to listen, pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your smile.

It is on days like this that our vision can become totally clear when we take a little time out, time to look into our hearts and I quote my Granduncle Jack again as he is holding and squeezing my arm. He would look outside dreams, he who looks inside awakes.

In today's world of rustling about, we think too much, seek too much, want too much and forget about the joy of just being in the now. So today, meditate just a little, relax in your seat anywhere quiet and just watch the movie of life.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. In our so-called modern world we are all very, very busy but it is so important from time to time, even daily, to take some time out and withdraw from the "noise" otherwise all our daily busyness will lead us down a road we should not go. Where is that road you might ask? It is the road where your heart becomes hardened and if you ask where that road is then you may already be there. In today's world of rustling about, we think too much, seek too much, want too much and forget about the joy of just being in the now. So today, meditate just a little, relax in your seat anywhere quiet and just watch the movie of life. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Tuesday smile.

One single positive act weighs more you know, than negatives by the score

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. It is Monday and the beginning of another week and what better way to start the day and the week than with one of my granduncle Jacks sayings. On a Monday it is always about being positive for the day, the week and into the future. "One single positive act weighs more you know, than negatives by the score". A great message for us all to heed. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Monday smile.

Is there anything more soothing, more relaxing than to walk and to be on the land?

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. When I look out my window of wonder this morning I think to myself, is there anything more soothing, more relaxing than a garden? Is there anything more soothing, more relaxing than to walk and to be on the land? We all make up the universe. The garden or the land we stand on , the created ground is the holy ground and we all are connected to it and part of it in some shape or form and all we need to do is be aware of our connectedness in all things in relation to nature and feel that feeling of belonging and always, every day, allow the wild beauty of the invisible and visible world to gather you, mind you and embrace us all in this wonderful world of belonging. Have a lovely, peaceful and mindful Sunday and wear your Sunday smile.

I think to myself that to be really happy in ourselves we all have to flower from within and yes we can all do it. You just have to do a little cultivating and this means taking time and space to care for ourselves.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Today, as I look from my window of wonder at the gardens, lush foliage and beauty around me I think to myself that to be really happy in ourselves we all have to flower from within and yes we can all do it. You just have to do a little cultivating and this means taking time and space to care for ourselves. It is only when we are at peace within ourselves that we can spread peace to all around us and we can do this when we relax and pray to our creator and send blessings and healing to all who need it. When we radiate peace we send ripples for reaching places and for reaching worlds. Have a lovely, peaceful and mindful weekend and wear your weekend smile.
