The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary 317

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 27 of our latest lock down. This morning the neighbourhood is cold with the winter freeze but soon we will experience the death of winter and the birth of spring, but also this morning in Ballinwillin we mourn the death and passing of Joe Mulcahy our neighbour, a legend in the music business and a founding member of the famous Maurice Mulcahy Band. A band that gave huge enjoyment to thousands of people worldwide. This morning our prayers are with his family, friends and neighbours. Now destiny calls Joe to a place of music where his trumpet will sound again for all our spiritual enjoyment, where his heart will always remain generous, all heavenly doors will open to his musical light as you now quietly befriend your death and you have no need to fear. You are among your own orchestra in the big band with your pure white suit you are now equal to your destiny and nearer to Earths heart. Rest in peace Joe. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 566

During the pandemic we all have suffered but thank God nothing on that scale. It is time for us all now to dig deep into our reserves, our resources and come out better human beings.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, garden and RetrEat centre. The Mindful Farmer is enroute to Hungary to visit his vineyard. It has been over two years since I have been and I am really looking forward to seeing the vines, the land and my friends. I have lost 5 very close friends due to Covid here and no one over the age of 55 years so it is a very nostalgic time for me. During the pandemic we all have suffered but thank God nothing on that scale. It is time for us all now to dig deep into our reserves, our resources and come out better human beings. The vines travel down through the soil approx 7-8 metres to draw their minerals and resources along the way so we must dig deep to draw on all our spiritual resources to be more mindful and caring people, a people we were always meant to be. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.

Everything and everyone blossoms here. Each second can be reborn and have a new beginning. It is a gift, it is my choice".

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, garden and RetrEat centre. Many people often ask me about what I do and why I do it and why I live in my retreat at Ballinwillin House. I smile and answer slowly and quietly "it is here that I am at peace and my heart and soul dwells in a place that no one else owns. Everything and everyone blossoms here. Each second can be reborn and have a new beginning. It is a gift, it is my choice". Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your smile.

I always take time out to start the day and be thankful for the gift of the new day. I like to take a little time to be still and the silence this morning is momentarily broken by the bellowing of the stags, a sound I love, but in these few minutes I find myself in a different mindset.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. These Autumn mornings always place me in a very contemplative and meditative mood! I always take time out to start the day and be thankful for the gift of the new day. I like to take a little time to be still and the silence this morning is momentarily broken by the bellowing of the stags, a sound I love, but in these few minutes I find myself in a different mindset. A mind that knows that it is not what we do that matters but why and how we do it and in this time my soul embraces all within and without. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your smile.

Always keep a little joy in reserve and bring beauty back into your heart and soul.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Last evening and this morning, special moments of joy were visited upon us by family and friends. Just a very simple occasion. We all have a certain amount of joy from time to time and they certainly illuminate our lives. It is very important to store them in our memory bank and to revisit them in our dark and lonely moments. It is nearly like saving money in the bank and they giving you it when you need it. In this way we can bring back beauty and joy as vividly and clear as when it was first experienced. Always keep a little joy in reserve and bring beauty back into your heart and soul. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your smile.

May he be given the strength to keep faith with his body and bring this new world gradually towards healing and freedom to all his presence shine even more brightly for himself, his family and friends.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. This morning as I look out my window of wonder it is a cold, grey, dark September morning and after I give thanks for the gift of this new day, my mind turns rapidly to pray for a great friend who is very ill with a great illness that has suddenly arrived and prayer for him is that he will be able to use this illness to illuminate new qualities in his life to add to all his other fantastic qualities. May he be given the strength to keep faith with his body and bring this new world gradually towards healing and freedom to all his presence shine even more brightly for himself, his family and friends. Little things in life mean a lot. "Little drops of water and little grains of sand make the mighty ocean and the pleasant land".

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. I am reverting back again to my visit to Thomond Park on Saturday night and in the company of my great friend Brendan, and for the three hours we spent together at this hallowed ground, I thought to myself "isn't it a great gift, possibly the greatest gift you can give to any person, your full attention". It is a wonderful freedom to be truly present with the other person, sharing comfort during this time. Even though there were crowds all around us and the noise that goes with a fixture like this, we were truly present in each others time and this time was sweetened by the fact that it was two years since we 2could do this and also the joy of a Munster win. Little things in life mean a lot. "Little drops of water and little grains of sand make the mighty ocean and the pleasant land". Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Monday smile.

There is nothing more beautiful, serene and peaceful than the sound of flowing water, all provided by the rain that is falling today.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Another Sunday morning and the rain is coming down but we need rain and water in all aspects of our life. It enables the land, the grass, the trees and the flowers to grow and flourish. It fills the rivers, lakes and oceans. It travels along many unseen pathways to where it flowed in the river at the back of the house in West Limerick where I was born. It provided us with life. It allowed us to dream beside it and to just sit and meditate and watch the world of its own to flow on by. There is nothing more beautiful, serene and peaceful than the sound of flowing water, all provided by the rain that is falling today. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Sunday best smile.

I am so excited at the opportunity for these new adventures to awaken for us all again so that our hearts and souls will sense the new world that awaits us all. This new beginning has been quietly forming and now lets be prepared for it all to emerge.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. It is a noisy and exciting time here at Ballinwillin. The stags are in full roar now and their deafening scrutal roars can be heard for miles around and later this morning I am off to the organic mart in Kilmallock where I might purchase a few cattle and in the evening I am off to Thomond Park to see Munster play the South African Cell C Sharks. These two events could only be dreamt of 18 months ago. I am so excited at the opportunity for these new adventures to awaken for us all again so that our hearts and souls will sense the new world that awaits us all. This new beginning has been quietly forming and now lets be prepared for it all to emerge. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Another lovely morning here at Ballinwillin. After looking out my window of wonder I found another dawn and I wash my face in the morning dew and felt the freshness against my skin. The serenity behind my face may never be seen outwardly but when the divine fire flames, we all succumb to the warmth of our heart which floats a buoyancy in our souls and then we feel the wild imprint of happiness all around the rim of our world. It is very important to be positive at all times no matter how you feel or what comes at you.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. The mornings are getting cooler and more damp and on this Thursday a few issues were going against The Mindful Farmers plans and then the positivity in me said "I am going to change this" and by 9am good news was flooding in. It is very important to be positive at all times no matter how you feel or what comes at you. I love the following few lines that I often quote "may I have the courage today to live the lift that I would love, to postpone my dreams no longer but to do at last what I came here for and waste my heart on fear no more. Have a great, beautiful, positive day and power healing to all who need it and wear your Thursday smile.

Every day, the very breath of life awakens many colours and anoints our eyes with wonder. Today the ocean danced with thunderous applause as I walked by its silken shore and as the twilight pervaded the belief of night all this beauty was wrapped softly in my heart for dreams to flow.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. You might have gathered at this stage that The Mindful Farmer is on a few days' holiday but at the beginning of each day, no matter where I am, I always bring my mind back to the gardens and farm back at Ballinwillin House. I then travel away in my mind to where I am when doing my daily blog. In that way I have the best of all worlds and beauty and it satisfies my heart and soul where time is present. The beauty that exists in our great country is astonishing and almost uncomprehendable to our naked eyes .Every day, the very breath of life awakens many colours and anoints our eyes with wonder. Today the ocean danced with thunderous applause as I walked by its silken shore and as the twilight pervaded the belief of night all this beauty was wrapped softly in my heart for dreams to flow. We need to clean our waters, our lands, if we don't, sooner or later, life will be affected and will come home to us either in floods, fires, storms or ill health. We are all interdependent on each other. Make a start today and begin to do something for your environment and your family.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Over the past few days I have been fortunate enough to meet fellow organic farming enthusiasts. People who are working the land with their hands and producing wonderful products from a healthy and nurtured earth. We need more of these people in a world that is warming globally so fast that most people don't get it. Sooner or later we all need to take a stand on producing healthy food for our children and future generations. We need to clean our waters, our lands, if we don't, sooner or later, life will be affected and will come home to us either in floods, fires, storms or ill health. We are all interdependent on each other. Make a start today and begin to do something for your environment and your family. Are we going to live for the future by sharing rather than competing? Will we measure great and valuable people by success or failure? Will we go forward at our own pace and chase what is right for us all and cherish all that is good in the world around us?

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. The Mindful Farmer is on a few days off to celebrate his birthday and draw breath after 18 months of lockdown and imprisonment. It has been a tough time on the farm and in our business but it has been tough for all people all over the world. There has been success and failure for all people, there have been losses and gains for all families. Have we learned anything? Are we going to live for the future by sharing rather than competing? Will we measure great and valuable people by success or failure? Will we go forward at our own pace and chase what is right for us all and cherish all that is good in the world around us? what is most important to me is having an inner peace in the midst of agitation, struggle and insecurity in the world. We should, throughout our life, learn from everyone and everything no matter how pleasant or unpleasant the experience is.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Today is The Mindful Farmers birthday. Is he any wiser? Good question! Wisdom has many sides but I believe that a big part of being wise is knowing who we are as human beings amidst all our trials in life. For my part now, what is most important to me is having an inner peace in the midst of agitation, struggle and insecurity in the world. We should, throughout our life, learn from everyone and everything no matter how pleasant or unpleasant the experience is. Overall I rely hugely on prayer and drawing close the light within myself and as I ask you all everyday continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your daily smile.

"Be calm, be assured, be rested, be peaceful, be effectual, sow everything with prayer and water it with trust. Trust in God and His holy mother and then it will all bear flowers and fruit in the joy of your heart and soul". She would then place a beautiful kiss on my forehead.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. While I was meditating this morning and reading through one of my prayer books I found a note that I scribbled down in my early years and it was a saying that I often heard my Mum repeat, "Be calm, be assured, be rested, be peaceful, be effectual, sow everything with prayer and water it with trust. Trust in God and His holy mother and then it will all bear flowers and fruit in the joy of your heart and soul". She would then place a beautiful kiss on my forehead. What a beautiful memory. What beautiful wisdom our parents and ancestors had. It is all stuck there for us to harvest. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Thursday smile.

The greatest gift anyone can give is a portion of themselves. Good people do all kinds of good deeds for love and by doing so we can dismantle all barriers. This is the mystery of love.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. The greatest gift anyone can give is a portion of themselves. Good people do all kinds of good deeds for love and by doing so we can dismantle all barriers. This is the mystery of love. When we give ourselves in love a new and fresh delight is born. We receive new powers of awareness and perception. We enlarge our boundaries and accept our limitations. We also forgive ourselves and learn a new way of life. We can do all this in our ordinary days work, in our ordinary life, by just being kind to all people, by praying for people with illness and problems and help sharing their burdens by power healing and peace to all who need it and wearing your daily smile. Have a lovely, peaceful, mindful, caring day.

Home should always be a place of shelter, love and warmth .I consider it to be a place where intimacy and belonging fester identity and individuality. When a place to belong is assured the adventure of growth can begin with great promise.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Recently in conversation with my daughter-in-law Laura she said that one of the most beautiful feelings she experiences is when she drives in the driveway at Ballinwillin House to home. Isn't it lovely that she feels like this? Home should always be a place of shelter, love and warmth .I consider it to be a place where intimacy and belonging fester identity and individuality. When a place to belong is assured the adventure of growth can begin with great promise. With this great feeling from childhood we can grow to be who we are meant to be and take our place in the big world of adventure and stand firm and proud with Mother Earth as our anchor and God as our guide like a lamp at our feet. When a great moment knocks on the door of your life, it's sound is often no louder than the beating of your heart and it is very easy to miss it.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Throughout our lives we all may suffer from the act or lack of listening and that includes The Mindful Farmer. In an exchange of letters from Olga Ivanskaia and Borris Pasternack in "A Captive Of Time" there is a beautiful recognition and realisation. When a great moment knocks on the door of your life, it's sound is often no louder than the beating of your heart and it is very easy to miss it. To live a conscious life we need to constantly refine our listening and to realise that there is a special time for everything and everyone. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Monday smile.
