The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary 317

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 27 of our latest lock down. This morning the neighbourhood is cold with the winter freeze but soon we will experience the death of winter and the birth of spring, but also this morning in Ballinwillin we mourn the death and passing of Joe Mulcahy our neighbour, a legend in the music business and a founding member of the famous Maurice Mulcahy Band. A band that gave huge enjoyment to thousands of people worldwide. This morning our prayers are with his family, friends and neighbours. Now destiny calls Joe to a place of music where his trumpet will sound again for all our spiritual enjoyment, where his heart will always remain generous, all heavenly doors will open to his musical light as you now quietly befriend your death and you have no need to fear. You are among your own orchestra in the big band with your pure white suit you are now equal to your destiny and nearer to Earths heart. Rest in peace Joe. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 906

So for today, may we all recognise and appreciate in our lives the presence, power, light and peace in our hearts and soul and please pass it on to someone else

Good morning everyone and welcome to The Mindful Farmers window of wonder. This morning while sitting on my peace seat I thought of each and every one if each and every one of us sent a thought or message of peace just to one other person, a friend or an acquaintance, this one act of peace can affect peace throughout the world. While we are making peace we are becoming and being peace. So for today, may we all recognise and appreciate in our lives the presence, power, light and peace in our hearts and soul and please pass it on to someone else to day and we all see each other on the same light of peace with the same delight, pride and expectation that God sees in all of us. Just pass it on and continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope and love to all who need it and wear your Thursday smile.

What The Mindful Farmer is going to do is focus on the green patch of land that I have control over and make it a healthy and most sustainable piece of ground possible and we all can do this in our own little way, big or small, it all helps.

Good morning everyone and welcome to The Mindful Farmers view of the world on this Wednesday morning. All the talk at present is on another energy crisis, cost of fuel, cost of living and so on and it is very serious. What The Mindful Farmer is going to do is focus on the green patch of land that I have control over and make it a healthy and most sustainable piece of ground possible and we all can do this in our own little way, big or small, it all helps. Let us thank the earth that offers us a ground for home where we can hold our feet firm and salute its certainty. The humility of nature transfigures all that we know and on this day let us salute the kindness of this earth and appreciate her beauty. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope and love to all who need it and wear your Wednesday smile.

I believe it is time for us all in this beautiful country that we learn to live in harmony with nature

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to my Sunday morning view from my window of wonder. Earlier this morning I was woken up by the thunderous noise of heavy rainfall lashing at the windows and belting on the roof and then I thought to myself this is Mother Nature refreshing her face with her greening power and her vigour that hugs her world on our behalf. I believe it is time for us all in this beautiful country that we learn to live in harmony with nature and if we do so we will be able to measure the improved well being in all our people as we eat natural food and live outside as much as possible and continue to live by faith and not by sight. On this beautiful Sunday morning continue to pray, bless, power healing to all who need it and wear your Sunday best smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 901

We cannot continue to poison Mother Earth with unthinking materialism and unnecessary consumption and when I walk the fields this morning and as the grasses bend their heads under me as I pass by I hope that after I have passed they will consider me a friend.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to The Mindful Farmers thought for this beautiful September day. Last night I was watching The Late Late show and was very moved by Tom Makay singing Mercy, Mercy me. The lyrics were beautiful and the background video was stunning. The theme of the song was to have mercy on nature and Mother nature and what is being done to this beautiful world of ours and as I walked the fields this morning and then into the gardens I was delighted to see the parched grass and plants devour the fresh rain water that it has been waiting on for weeks now. There is no doubt that our climate is changing and we must all play our part in both urban and rural areas and communities. We cannot continue to poison Mother Earth with unthinking materialism and unnecessary consumption and when I walk the fields this morning and as the grasses bend their heads under me as I pass by I hope that after I have passed they will consider me a friend. We must all respect Mother Nature and her beautiful world and her awesome powers and when we do so she will reward us. So today, let us all bless the imagination of Mother Earth and her kindness as it is to be seen in the world around us and this beautiful sublime stillness that nourishes our dream filled hearts. On this beautiful September morning do a little to help and heal our Mother of nature and continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, love and hope to all who need it and wear your September best smile.

"the better we sow, the better they grow'' and then they would say that it was the same in life. Their advice was sow love, peace and happiness in your life and it will harvest well for you as you grow older.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to The Mindful Farmers window of wonder on this beautiful September morning as we begin the day with joyous and thankful expectation. September was always known in West Limerick as the harvest month when we reaped the harvest that we sowed and my parents would say every year "the better we sow, the better they grow'' and then they would say that it was the same in life. Their advice was sow love, peace and happiness in your life and it will harvest well for you as you grow older. What great advice but when you are young you think you are invincible but as we go through life, the lessons we learn by living the life our parents advised us to are the best learned, otherwise they are just words and words are easily forgotten. Thanks Mum and Dad for the great example. I will do my very best to sow it all around me. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, love and hope to all who need it and wear your September best smile.

Today I pray that no more hurt is visited to them and that the fever of the world will calm by twilight and that all that is strained in all of us will come to calm and ease.

Good morning everyone and welcome. It is September and my favourite month of the year. It is really magic this year as the weather is amazing and The Mindful Farmer has been busy in the garden. Today I built a little peace seat for a little more relaxation in the garden. Here I rest, meditate and pray especially for all that are near and dear to me and to all of our brothers and sisters worldwide who are tormented by various troubles. Today I pray that no more hurt is visited to them and that the fever of the world will calm by twilight and that all that is strained in all of us will come to calm and ease. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope and love to all who need it and wear your Thursday smile.

My wish for you all today is that this new dawn will encourage your minds and souls to come alive and that you will find the courage to live the life that you would love and postpone your dreams no longer.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to The Mindful Farmers view from his window of wonder. This morning I watched the sunrise over the broad Atlantic Ocean as it beamed in and cut through the surface of the sea and land to shine directly on me and give me great joy for the new day that was arriving from the harvest of the night. I felt this was special and the beginning of an original day that would stimulate my senses and make my heart stronger and my mind illuminated. My wish for you all today is that this new dawn will encourage your minds and souls to come alive and that you will find the courage to live the life that you would love and postpone your dreams no longer. What struck me most was the almost shy beauty of these people, quiet, rural, country people who have lived quietly in their area, their communities and have made their lives blessed, sacred and very peaceful.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to my window of wonder this morning. Last evening I visited part of West Limerick where I was born and reared. I met some old friends, relatives and some people and some people I have never met before. What struck me most was the almost shy beauty of these people, quiet, rural, country people who have lived quietly in their area, their communities and have made their lives blessed, sacred and very peaceful. They seem to have a deep spiritual nature and their life would appear to be a creative service. They seem to find harmony between soul and life as a river flows. Thanks to all who inspired me on my visit and I will continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, love and hope in your direction.

We receive many blessings in our life. Just to wake up every morning is a blessing. The gift of a new day, the gift of life.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. We receive many blessings in our life. Just to wake up every morning is a blessing. The gift of a new day, the gift of life. Recently a great friend of ours visited. I mean a really good person who always shone a light in our lives and always bestowed blessings on us and our family and then I thought to myself "this person is a blessing and their presence in our lives is goodness, kindness, strength, healing and courage." How blessed are we today and don't forget we all have the power to bless each other so do so. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope and love to all who need it and wear your Monday smile.

It is time for rest and meditation and focus on God for a while. It is the best remedy for the mind and heart.

Good morning everyone and welcome to my garden of wonder and my organic farm. It is a lovely, misty Sunday morning here and after doing the morning farming jobs and feeding the people who came for breakfast it is time for rest and meditation and focus on God for a while. It is the best remedy for the mind and heart. When the mind is unfocused it is vulnerable to all the outside noises of the world and these noises can exert a downward pull on your thoughts and may lead to anxiety. When you devote some time to God in peace and tranquility even the most cloudy and confusing days will open up before you as you go step by step providing guidance and the necessary light for your path and believe me there is a quiet light that shines in every heart so on this Sunday let it shine to illuminate our minds so that we can see the beauty of life all around us and in nature to nourish and sustain us. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, love and hope to all who need it and wear your Sunday best smile.

Live by faith and not by sight.

Good morning everyone and welcome to The Mindful Farmers daily message from the heart, mind and soul. This morning I am going to talk about a fantastic and beautiful person I was fortunate to meet last evening after a long absence, mainly due to Covid. I always considered this person to be a very quiet person, dignified but very wise also and in general conversation she said we now live in a society that teaches us to distrust the fundamental goodness and wisdom that is in our nature and gut. She then went on to say that when we enter into the wisdom deep inside us that we all possess that we then enter into the mystery of divine love and that is what keeps us all going throughout our life. If we persist in life we will create and this magic power can transform, transfigure and transpose and will ultimately be transmitted to those around us. Live by faith and not by sight. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.

Given time we can all fly home from distant places

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to day 5 of our RetrEat week. Today we are going to focus on unspoken anger. The glue of unresolved resentment keeps us stuck in pain. We must learn to express our hurt and anger. The beginning of the beauty of forgiveness releases eternal joy and freedom and in this way we will find the ability to be honest, clean and direct and that is how we deal with unresolved resentment. Given time we can all fly home from distant places. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, love and hope to all who need it and wear your Friday smile.

You can learn more in an hour of silence than you can in a year from reading books.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to day 4 of our RetrEat week.

Today we will focus on silence and the gift we give ourselves in silence. When we enter an environment of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light and what is elusive and deceptive and unclear resolves itself into crystal clearness. Start every morning with a period of purposeful silence. You can learn more in an hour of silence than you can in a year from reading books. This morning, or at any time during the day, go to a quiet place, sit in silence and pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Thursday smile.

The heart is very sensitive to all that is happening to us. It absorbs our joy but also our pain and sorrow and what we will do this week on RetrEat to bring light, happiness and peace flooding into our hearts and also our minds and live the life of love like a river flows carried by surprise of its own unfolding.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to day 3 of our RetrEat week. Again, we focus on a peaceful beginning to our day, then thanksgiving and then affirmations. As I say to my clients is to have your T.E. A - Thanksgiving, Exercise or yoga and Affirmations. It is said that all of us carry a book inside of our hearts. When we dream at night time we can be surprised at how clear visions of long forgotten events return with strange clarity reflecting the deeper impact of what happens is registered in the narrative of the heart. The heart is very sensitive to all that is happening to us. It absorbs our joy but also our pain and sorrow and what we will do this week on RetrEat to bring light, happiness and peace flooding into our hearts and also our minds and live the life of love like a river flows carried by surprise of its own unfolding. A compassionate heart never needs to carry the burden of judgement

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. It is Monday and the beginning of an exciting week of 1 to 1 RetrEat work. I will keep you posted on our weeks work and the wonderful people who will benefit from peace and prayer. The Mindful Farmer Patrick signing off, have a beautiful, peaceful, mindful week.

"In the morning I put my worries and troubles into that bag and put them to one side and out of sight for the day and go about my work and I don't think about them for the entire day and when I return to the bag in the evening time, it is usually empty."

Good morning everyone and welcome on this beautiful Sunday morning. I remember many years ago sitting beside the well on Granduncle Jacks farm and in the company of my beautiful Granny Ellen. As we were sitting there peacefully on a Sunday and the cattle grazing away in our company, Jack noticed that Granny has a worried look on her face and he went over to her and put his hand on her shoulder and said "why are you worrying?." He then pointed to a small black warm leather bag that he used to carry with him everywhere. "In the morning I put my worries and troubles into that bag and put them to one side and out of sight for the day and go about my work and I don't think about them for the entire day. When I return to the bag in the evening time, it is usually empty." What wisdom Jack possessed and how practical. On this Sunday, may we all have the grace and passion to be who we are meant to be. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Sunday smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 887

We all have healing powers in our eyes, in our hands and in our words. We can help heal broken bodies, broken minds, broken hearts, even broken lives and relationships but we can be much more effective if we invoke God's help as his presence has the ultimate and immense power to heal.

Good morning everyone and welcome. This morning I am going to talk about healing and I have a particular reason for doing so. A very good friend of mine was experiencing ill health for the past few years and all types of medical intervention was used and helped greatly but every week this wonderful person and I would pray together for healing and when they were not in my presence I would power my healing to them and into their body and mind as I do at the end of each daily message. We all have healing powers in our eyes, in our hands and in our words. We can help heal broken bodies, broken minds, broken hearts, even broken lives and relationships but we can be much more effective if we invoke God's help as his presence has the ultimate and immense power to heal. What is key to our healing is to ask and to believe and then healing will flow. "Ask and you shall receive.'' Back in West Limerick when I was a child if someone was sick, the older members of the family or neighbours would always lay their hands on the sick person's head and bless them. When someone is in sorrow or pain, touch can become the silent language and then change can begin so for today and from this day forward let us all be that instrument of change and healing and continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.
