The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary 317

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 27 of our latest lock down. This morning the neighbourhood is cold with the winter freeze but soon we will experience the death of winter and the birth of spring, but also this morning in Ballinwillin we mourn the death and passing of Joe Mulcahy our neighbour, a legend in the music business and a founding member of the famous Maurice Mulcahy Band. A band that gave huge enjoyment to thousands of people worldwide. This morning our prayers are with his family, friends and neighbours. Now destiny calls Joe to a place of music where his trumpet will sound again for all our spiritual enjoyment, where his heart will always remain generous, all heavenly doors will open to his musical light as you now quietly befriend your death and you have no need to fear. You are among your own orchestra in the big band with your pure white suit you are now equal to your destiny and nearer to Earths heart. Rest in peace Joe. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 1006

Hope keeps you spiritually, mentally and physically alive during dark times of adversity.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome. A question I am frequently asked is "what is your definition of Hope?" and my answer is simple and it follows by leading a life here on earth close to nature and close to God, by doing the best you can in your circumstances. Hope keeps you spiritually, mentally and physically alive during dark times of adversity. It also brightens your awareness of a greater power and that power is The Holy Spirit guiding us along and holding us by the hand and guiding us with a lamp to our feet with a feeling of total trust and beautiful friendship. Hope is everywhere and in everything. A complete feeling of trust. When you see sights such as those at Ballinwillin House how can you not have hope eternally? Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope, love and happiness to all and wear your Friday smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 1005

When we listen in silence and peace we escape the hard word, the cruel mind and it gives us a chance to view the invisible geography inside our heads. When I sit in silence I find my mind coming alive and it allows me time to break the dead shells of yesterday for they are lost and gone forever.

Good morning everyone and welcome. Last night I was watching a programme on RTE 1 on Tommy Tiernan. He was capturing many beautiful cameras on the life of the west of Ireland and how it can catch you off guard, catch your heart off guard and blow it open. He also went on to say that the biggest mistake we often make is that when we are in a beautiful place and having a beautiful experience is not to be silent, don't speak, just listen and how true "just shut up" as he put it "and listen". When we listen in silence and peace we escape the hard word, the cruel mind and it gives us a chance to view the invisible geography inside our heads. When I sit in silence I find my mind coming alive and it allows me time to break the dead shells of yesterday for they are lost and gone forever. My mind can now come alive and gives me a chance to live in the world and life that I would love, to postpone my dreams no longer but to do at last what I came here for and waste my heart on fear no more. Can we all live like this? Well, I am certainly going to give it a good old go. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope, love and happiness to all and wear your Friday smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 1004

If we take on our days mindful of how short our time here is then we might be more conscious of how precious each day is.

Good morning everyone and welcome to another frosty morning but no matter how cold it is outside we are a nation of warm hearted people. Each morning, each day we receive an invitation to a voyage on a new path, we often take on days without proper preparation, without gratitude, without thanksgiving, without prayer. If we take on our days mindful of how short our time here is then we might be more conscious of how precious each day is. So, on this beautiful December morning don't forget today for all the right reasons and continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope, love and happiness to all and wear your Thursday smile.

"as humans we do not weave the web of life we are merely strands in it but whatever we do to the web we do it to ourselves". It is up to us all to be a shiny part of the web of life and nature and this morning I see beautiful sparkling frosted webs everywhere and that is my view from my window of wonder this morning.

Good morning everyone and welcome to the view from The Mindful Farmers window of wonder on another very cold and frosty Wednesday morning. This view is a childhood one, perfect for this time of year. As a child we see wonder in everyone and everything but as an adult our lives task is to reclaim that child in us again. As we walk life's journey we realise we are connected with all that has gone on before and all this is present but we must also realise that we are preparing for the future and all that we achieve and contribute to this life touches life everywhere and for all time. A good example of this according to Granduncle Jack is "as humans we do not weave the web of life we are merely strands in it but whatever we do to the web we do it to ourselves". It is up to us all to be a shiny part of the web of life and nature and this morning I see beautiful sparkling frosted webs everywhere and that is my view from my window of wonder this morning. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope and happiness to all who need it and wear your Wednesday smile.

Continue to enjoy this December and pray for all who are in need at this time of year.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to this wonderful time of the year that I feel especially at being at home, being still, happy, peaceful and all to be enjoyed in the warm embrace of God. Granduncle Jack had another great saying "a condition of complete simplicity costing nothing less than everything then all shall be well." Continue to enjoy this December and pray for all who are in need at this time of year.

It is up to us to take the beauty from the ravages of this weather.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to my farm, land and gardens of frosted white. Minus 6 degrees here today and a new beauty has descended on us and it came in many forms a beauty always does. It is up to us to take the beauty from the ravages of this weather. Earlier today everywhere I moved small birdies were fluttering around me saying "please mister give us so food" and it worked. A new 1kg box of seed was unveiled and everywhere I could I placed the seed and a feast followed. The deer, wild boar, goats, cattle and hens all hurried in my direction for the feed to warm their bodies during this cold spell. Deep down I believe we all love this time of year and the divine pleasure to sit by a wintry fireside, candles lighting, early morning and evening, warm hearted rugs, a nice cup of tea and mince pies .These are some of the pleasures I am thankful for at this time of year and they make December weather positively pleasant and enjoyable. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope, love and happiness to all who need it and wear your Monday smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary 1000

1000 days of thoughts, prayers, hope and above all, great help and support from family, friends and colleagues and it was all inspired by the advent of Covid19, the virus that ravaged families all over our great little country and over the world but somehow we got the strength to stand firm and survive.

Good morning everyone and welcome. Well, today is a very proud day for The Mindful Farmer. An amazing achievement - 1000 days of thoughts, prayers, hope and above all, great help and support from family, friends and colleagues and it was all inspired by the advent of Covid19, the virus that ravaged families all over our great little country and over the world but somehow we got the strength to stand firm and survive. The power of the heart, that beautiful place where God dwells is our divine sanctuary. A compassionate heart never carries the burden of judgement, a forgiving heart knows the art of liberation and a loving heart awakens that spirit to possibilities of survival and engagement with others. All that went in our lives at Ballinwillin through business, family, health is now in the archives of our memory and they say each of us carry a book of our life inside our hearts and that happened also. Hope in a time of Crisis was published in May by The Mindful Farmer but a book can never contain or register the impact of what happens during a time like these 1000 days but all is registered in the narrative of my heart. A sincere thank you to all who supported us during this time. My prayers will always be with you and now I head to Dublin airport to collect my beautiful daughter in exile Elayne Mary and am looking forward to a happy, peaceful and prayerful Christmas period and I wish you all the very same.

Warmest regards

Feelings are fiercely important as they are the secret bridge that penetrates solitude and isolation.

Good morning everyone and welcome. This morning The Mindful Farmer is feeling grateful, happy and blessed. When I look through my window of wonder this morning I see white frosted trees, white frosted grass and all the animals with white frosted backs. They are all in great form and feeling happy. Feelings are fiercely important as they are the secret bridge that penetrates solitude and isolation. If we could not feel we would not have the ability to recognise friendship and love could never be born. All feelings are born in the heart and that is what makes the heart the true jewel in the crown. So on this beautiful white frosted Saturday morning, love like the river flows. You will never know what wonderful surprises are waiting for you. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope, love and happiness to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.

We spoke about happiness, peace and letting our inner beauty flow through our eyes, our smiles, our expressions, our gestures, our peacefulness, our warmth, our joy and our concern. This was no ordinary meeting and no ordinary morning.

Good morning everyone and welcome. Earlier this morning at the breakfast table I had a beautiful discussion with two lovely ladies. It all came about when they arrived early on a very cold morning bearing beautiful smiles and happy, happy faces. We spoke about happiness, peace and letting our inner beauty flow through our eyes, our smiles, our expressions, our gestures, our peacefulness, our warmth, our joy and our concern. This was no ordinary meeting and no ordinary morning. Thank you ladies. It is very true that what we want in this life can be expensive and difficult to find yet always close by. Think about this and pray for all.

The branches on the trees and shrubs are frosted perfectly, the red berries on the holly trees shine out and radiate.

Good morning everyone and welcome to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. It is minus 5 degrees here this morning and that presents its own problems on the farm with frozen water pipes etc but we will get by and solve these small problems. On the plus side, there is beauty everywhere. The branches on the trees and shrubs are frosted perfectly, the red berries on the holly trees shine out and radiate. Likewise, the wild rose in the gardens is like a red bulb theatre and it reminds me that nature has many sides and seeing her outstanding beauty this morning has immense healing powers. When we stop and rest in peace for a while we can recognise God within the complexities of our lives and now as I sit here in full and total peace I say to myself "surely God is with me here in this place." Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope, love and happiness to all who need it and wear your Thursday smile.

This is our time of year in a world that can be harsh and negative at times to be generous, kind and patient.

Good morning everyone and welcome to The Mindful Farmers place of peace. At this time every year people are rushing around filling their lives with anxiety in the competitive consumer driven month of December and the festive season can be wonderful but we should also spend some time caring for the less fortunate in our society and doing or saying small things with responsibility and courage. This is our time of year in a world that can be harsh and negative at times to be generous, kind and patient. These qualities are in us all and this is the perfect time of year to show them. When someone is kind to you then you feel understood and seen. Continue to pray, power healing, peace, hope, love and happiness to all and a special request to pray for guidance for a few very special people who are at a crossroads in their life. Thank you and wear your Wednesday smile.

All these little experiences this morning have helped me enter my own place of inner peace where I can find and be at one with myself.

Good morning everyone and welcome. It is a cold morning here this morning. The cold temperature has stilled all and there appears to be a stillness of order but nonetheless, all is not static. Everything seems to be calm. The ocean is flowing peacefully but not frantically. The candle is flickering but in a flowing way. All these little experiences this morning have helped me enter my own place of inner peace where I can find and be at one with myself. So for today and on this frosty morning let the music of deep inner peace play softly in all your hearts and minds and enjoy your day. On this beautiful and dry December Sunday morning, take time to sit in peace, relax and pray to God

Good morning everybody and welcome to a mindful Sunday morning at Ballinwillin House. Well, as you are all aware by now Sunday is a special day here and a day of rest, peace and tranquility once the morning work is complete. Then I spend time in prayer and meditation for a while and then it is family time and centre to this is time with God where I am able to communicate with the King of the universe at any time and place. We should never take this amazing privilege for granted. This communication strengthens us and prepares us for what is before us on life's path. On this beautiful and dry December Sunday morning, take time to sit in peace, relax and pray to God and power healing, peace, hope, love and happiness to all who need it and wear your Sunday best smile.

They looked at me, smelt me, pulled at my clothes. I was fascinated by their attentiveness and closeness so I gave them their brekkie and they were delighted.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. Earlier this morning when I was feeding the cattle they had a great interest in me as I was bearing gifts, their feed. They looked at me, smelt me, pulled at my clothes. I was fascinated by their attentiveness and closeness so I gave them their brekkie and they were delighted. Some remained on afterwards for their morning rub and massage/ The remainder went off on their daily trails and rituals and I just thought to myself that there isn't one single part of this world, this creation that doesn't fascinate me and us if we are interested and awake and we must look close enough so for this weekend go out into nature and be fascinated - you won't be disappointed. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope, love and happiness to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.

When we plant a tree and I have planted hundreds here over the years, we are conscious that we will not be on this earthly coil when they mature but they will provide beauty and shade to our children and grandchildren and further on and contribute hugely to the balance of nature.

Good morning everyone and welcome. Well. this morning I had the great pleasure in planting a beautiful tree that I received as a gift from my great friends Carmel and Pavel, a beautiful Mimosa Mihai. The Mimosa tree is reputed to mimic conscious life and I look forward to its development here at Ballinwillin House in our beautiful gardens. When we plant a tree and I have planted hundreds here over the years, we are conscious that we will not be on this earthly coil when they mature but they will provide beauty and shade to our children and grandchildren and further on and contribute hugely to the balance of nature. In the fullness of time this fantastic specimen will hold the memory of seasons for us and its delicate leaves will quiver the sun in our direction, hold the intimate qulities of our ancient clay and imprint our minds, spirit and light. Grow and inspire us all you beautiful Mimosa Mihai. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope, love and happiness to all who need it and wear your Friday smile.

When it comes to December what I think about is Christams, snow, frosted over branches and the joy that I experienced as a child and now that I see through the wonderment of all childrens eyes. It is never too late to rediscover our childhood and our sense of now

Good morning everyone and welcome to December at The Mindful Farmers place of peace and solitude. When it comes to December what I think about is Christams, snow, frosted over branches and the joy that I experienced as a child and now that I see through the wonderment of all childrens eyes. It is never too late to rediscover our childhood and our sense of now as a child and that child never looses the ability to look with the eyes of the heart combining concentration with wonderment. All children should be able to sit and look when nothihng is to be seen and sit and listen when nothing is to be heard. Can we all as adults do this for this month of Christ? If we do, the children will follow and do likewise. Have a beautiful December month and practice our daily schedule.

It is in peace and silence that a flower blooms. It is in peace and silence we all grow.

Good morning everyone and welcome to The Mindful Farmers place of peace and silence. It is in peace and silence that a flower blooms. It is in peace and silence we all grow. It is here in this deep space that we protect and save ourselves an inner sacred space which God guards with His presence. We must all find this space in our lives not to only go there when we are in trouble or worried by issues. We must go there several times daily and practice going there and imagine ourselves sitting in our throne of peace and silence. It will transform our lives and lead us into a pathwway of beauty that will make us strong, loving, wise and happy people/ Then we will have joy and power. They remind me of my less than perfect self. We are all born to manifest the glory of God within us and it is not just some of us chosen ones. It is in all of us, everyone. It remains the dream of every life to realize itself.

Good morning everyone and welcome to The Mindful Farmers farm and gardens on this lovely, crisp November day. When I look around the fields and gardens this morning the amount of bare branches is ever increasing but even though they are bare there is beauty albeit abstract beauty in their bare stillness and expected clothing. They remind me of my less than perfect self. We are all born to manifest the glory of God within us and it is not just some of us chosen ones. It is in all of us, everyone. It remains the dream of every life to realize itself. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope, love and happiness to all and wear your Tuesday smile.

We are blessed with great friends and no matter where they go they carry love, warmth and feeling in their hearts and souls which they share with everyone which brings us all to a place of passion, kindness and above all belonging and never feeling isolated.

Good morning everyone and welcome to the view from The Mindful Farmers window of wonder on this beautiful Monday morning. Well, I have to tell you all about the amazing Sunday we all had yesterday. Oftentimes on a weekend morning especially Sundays the breakfast can go on up to lunchtime and this was the case yesterday. We usually start preparing breakfast at 6am for our first guests at 7am and so it was yesterday and it went right on until 3pm. Some left to travel on, some came late and some returned for a coffee before they headed off. Then friends arrived and some family members. The kitchen was full of people. The conversations were varied and interesting. The laughter was infectious. Friends came with gifts, friends came with friends but everyone came with warm and open hearts. It was a joyous and spiritual day. We are blessed with great friends and no matter where they go they carry love, warmth and feeling in their hearts and souls which they share with everyone which brings us all to a place of passion, kindness and above all belonging and never feeling isolated. That was my amazing Sunday and now on this Monday morning I am grateful for this beautiful presentation that nature has placed before me. Thank you God and look after us all today.
