The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 288

Good morning and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 4 of our newest lock down. Yesterday I was out in the fields with my son John and grandson JJ and it was wonderful to have the 3 generations out in the fields and then to meet Biffo our magnificent and huge wild boar and to see JJ and 1 and a half years old sitting on his back was a beautiful sight, experience and photo. Isn’t it extraordinary to think that we cannot imagine life ending or imagine it is not ending. The circle of life goes on. It was here before us, it is here now and it will be here after we are gone. We live in the now and that now will soon be past and then the future will be now. All we have in this life is the now, a very brief now and in this now we are alone and yet we are not alone because we are accompanied in this circle, in this journey through life by all life and this all life is very evident in the fields and gardens at Ballinwillin House and can be felt at all times just life in the fields yesterday. It is a magic way to live. This has all been unfolding since my birth and dreamed of before I was born. It is as if to see my face in the mirror of my mind. Have a lovely day and continue to pray.
