The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary 317

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 27 of our latest lock down. This morning the neighbourhood is cold with the winter freeze but soon we will experience the death of winter and the birth of spring, but also this morning in Ballinwillin we mourn the death and passing of Joe Mulcahy our neighbour, a legend in the music business and a founding member of the famous Maurice Mulcahy Band. A band that gave huge enjoyment to thousands of people worldwide. This morning our prayers are with his family, friends and neighbours. Now destiny calls Joe to a place of music where his trumpet will sound again for all our spiritual enjoyment, where his heart will always remain generous, all heavenly doors will open to his musical light as you now quietly befriend your death and you have no need to fear. You are among your own orchestra in the big band with your pure white suit you are now equal to your destiny and nearer to Earths heart. Rest in peace Joe. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 623

On a Sunday, it is a day where the fever of the week calms towards twilight and may all that is strained or troubled in us come to ease and rest.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Well, it is another Sunday and another day of rest. In the old days it was a day where everyone was equal in rest and peace. It was a day where we reflected on the past weeks work and most importantly, to contemplate the purpose and meaning of life. In our present world, this is more important than ever because as a society we are more in danger of overworking ourselves into illness. On a Sunday, it is a day where the fever of the week calms towards twilight and may all that is strained or troubled in us come to ease and rest. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Sunday smile.

As long as we do live like our forefathers we must teach them to our children and them in return to their children. It is a wonderful, deep and heartfelt inheritance for all to cherish. Today, as we live in the parched descent of our modern world, observing and living with and in harmony with nature is like discovering a fresh well.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. In all our daily lives we must be careful and watch ourselves closely so that we don't forget the things our eyes have seen, the beauty of Mother Earth. It is vital we don't let them slip from our hearts. As long as we do live like our forefathers we must teach them to our children and them in return to their children. It is a wonderful, deep and heartfelt inheritance for all to cherish. Today, as we live in the parched descent of our modern world, observing and living with and in harmony with nature is like discovering a fresh well. Nature opens up our minds but NEVER, NEVER overloads it.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. When I look out my window of wonder today I see harmony. The balance that we find in the outer world is the perfect antidote to the materialisation and the noise of the so called modern world. Nature opens up our minds but NEVER, NEVER overloads it. When pain strikes our tendency is to withdraw and this can work but if we stay with the pain we soon discover it can bring new and fresh solutions.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. We suffer pain from time to time and in various forms like illness, physical or mental, painful decisions and so on. When pain strikes our tendency is to withdraw and this can work but if we stay with the pain we soon discover it can bring new and fresh solutions. When the real damage is done is if we stay with the old pain and never find the way forward. Irrespective of how long this solution to pain the new journey is if we are true to ourselves it will lead to growth and peace. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Thursday smile.

Eat little at night. Open up all your windows, think good always of all things and people and you will never be sad, bored or ill." Very wise words indeed.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to The Mindful Farmers daily blog. Again this morning after meditation I reflect on more words of wisdom from my Granduncle Jack. It goes as follows:- "Eat little at night. Open up all your windows, think good always of all things and people and you will never be sad, bored or ill." Very wise words indeed. As we go through each day we will have some trials and tribulations but if we approach the day in a pleasant and thankful manner and observe the beauty that can be seen if our eyes are open to this beauty.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. As we go through each day we will have some trials and tribulations but if we approach the day in a pleasant and thankful manner and observe the beauty that can be seen if our eyes are open to this beauty. Look carefully for these beautiful signs along the day and pick them up one by one and when we reach the end of the day we will have gathered a beautiful bouquet. Now isn't that a beautiful thing?! If we offer up this gift to God with a grateful heart we will receive a beautiful peace as we lie down to sleep like a lullaby. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and smile as you sleep tonight.

We see with our eyes, we feel with our hearts. It is very important not to let those memories ever step from our hearts. We must pass them down the generations just like my Mom and Dad did to me. Thanks for the memories Mom and Dad.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Yesterday while I was resting and meditating, memories of my passed parents came flooding in to my mind like a fast flowing river, and the stories they would tell me about events that happened 60-70-80 years ago just like it was yesterday. In old age people get confused about what is in the past and the present but the memory was clear and with memories there are no hassles in life, not really. Memories are stored and can be re-visited time and time again. We can all relive our childhood and other stages of our lives. Memories are like the golden sunlight of yesterday. With our memories we will never be lonely. We see with our eyes, we feel with our hearts. It is very important not to let those memories ever step from our hearts. We must pass them down the generations just like my Mom and Dad did to me. Thanks for the memories Mom and Dad. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Monday smile.

We give thanks as a family for the day and we trust in God to look after us all for the day and every day. Thoughtfulness and trust are our primary receptors. These two subtle disciplines will keep us on a safe and wonderful pathway throughout our life.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. As I look out my window of wonder on this beautiful Sunday morning my mind flashes back to a Sunday morning image when I was a child growing up in West Limerick. There was great preparation, clean clothes, polished shoes, beautiful breakfast, farm work completed early and off to mass. As a child and to a child's understanding it was special. Time was taken to be together as a family for most of the day. It was as if there was an audience present all around us and we always gave thanks as a family for the wonderful food with grace before and after meals. We give thanks as a family for the day and we trust in God to look after us all for the day and every day. Thoughtfulness and trust are our primary receptors. These two subtle disciplines will keep us on a safe and wonderful pathway throughout our life. Have a wonderful Sunday and continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your smile.

The fascination about this new day is that the trees who created all this beauty are still firmly rooted in our clay though now devoid of their beauty and from the gift of peace and beauty they have messaged me with this morning

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. This morning as I look out my window of wonder I see a cold, frosted morning and the leaves dancing to the ground to form a multicoloured, beautiful carpet. The crimson morning light awakens this col;our of nature that now flows through me and joy dances around my heart and soul. Peace and elegance light up my new day. The fascination about this new day is that the trees who created all this beauty are still firmly rooted in our clay though now devoid of their beauty and from the gift of peace and beauty they have messaged me with this morning. I now send this message of beauty, peace and happiness to all the hearts encircled within. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.

What I would like to mention today is of all the times we benefit from all the prayers and actions of people in disguise, people who pray for us; wish us well for various reasons and circumstances.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Have you ever noticed that during a day or a week, many times we benefit from the kind actions of people. This is a direct observation and very beautiful. What I would like to mention today is of all the times we benefit from all the prayers and actions of people in disguise, people who pray for us; wish us well for various reasons and circumstances. It could be family, friends or someone you did something kind for and we never know it but we can feel the vibe, the feeling of warmth coming from somewhere out of the blue. I really love this feeling and I know that there are people out there every day performing this wonderful work. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Friday smile.

The word consolation means to be with the lonely. When you lose someone very close to you it is difficult to make anything seem better. Having friends and support and just being with us even if nothing is said is sufficient. Speaking in silence has huge healing. Thank you dear friends for speaking in silence with me.

When the fog clears we will be able to focus clearly on the now and we will be able to absorb the lesson that is to keep our focus on the path that God has cleared for today where we can walk safely and happily with joy in our heart and soul.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. As I look out my window of wonder this morning the beautiful gardens and green fields are dimmed down by a hanging, heavy fog. It will slow the work a little this morning but when I reflect, this is not a bad thing. We all have foggy times in our lives which are meant to call us back into the now, the present moment. When the fog clears we will be able to focus clearly on the now and we will be able to absorb the lesson that is to keep our focus on the path that God has cleared for today where we can walk safely and happily with joy in our heart and soul. Let nothing deflect us from this path. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Wednesday smile.

These type of people can teach us so much and always seem to be in good form despite their situation. These are beautiful people. If only we can see beyond their suffering. As we are at the beginning of a new week we must view it with positivity and opportunity. Yes there will be challenges but there will also be joy and happiness and success. We must view our problems with a light touch and not to gear up for better but there is a better way.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. As we are at the beginning of a new week we must view it with positivity and opportunity. Yes there will be challenges but there will also be joy and happiness and success. We must view our problems with a light touch and not to gear up for better but there is a better way. When your problems begin to overshadow your thoughts and clarity what I always do is to bring them to the feet of Mary our mother and all our mothers, bring them to God our father and all our fathers. You will be surprised at the results and the peace and freedom you will find to have placed these responsibilities in the care of the almighty. With a revealing light and peace on your pathway, Peace in your heart and soul. Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your smile.

Another Sunday and another day of peace, rest and contemplation but to start the day some work has to be done even on a Sunday. Feeding the deer, wild boar and goats, collecting the eggs, feeding the hens then bringing in the firewood for the evenings relaxing fire. These jobs are all part of The Mindful Farmers job and these jobs are all part of my meditation process and done in peace and love.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. It reminds me of my childhood and the strong memories from those days and how we gave time and respect for the Sabbath, prayer and fellow human beings, To enter properly into our beautiful memories we need time and solitude to ask ourselves about the hidden, beautiful memories of the past and we need to listen to what messages come from this contemplation. It all combines to make what is our life today and every Sunday should be spent like this, peace, prayer, thanksgiving and meditation. Continue as above and send peace, healing and power healing to all who need it and wear your Sunday best smile.

Going through life, we always strive to do the best we can and be as helpful and kind to people as we can

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Going through life, we always strive to do the best we can and be as helpful and kind to people as we can but at times someone will come along and do you an injustice or behave badly towards you. We should always strive to lift up our souls so high that this offence or wrong doing cannot reach us. This is not and easy thing to do but we should try our best to follow it. The days and nights over the past 600 gave just enfolded into each other and have taken little notice of us but then all of a sudden there comes a moment when time seems to crystalise just like yesterday.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Yesterday I had the pleasure of catching up with a great friend that I hadn't met since the first lockdown 607 days ago. The days and nights over the past 600 gave just enfolded into each other and have taken little notice of us but then all of a sudden there comes a moment when time seems to crystalise just like yesterday. A voice changes everything changes tone and that beautiful voice with its melodious tones sweetens all around me even beyond the veils of language and the noise of life and all its activity spoken softly and quietly. Thank you for the gift of your heart, voice and breath. Now I can carry something beautiful in my mind. The light of love from a child is like a morning star which can live in the hearts of us all.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Earlier this morning I was saying goodbye to my two grandchildren as they were about to leave for creche and as they approached the front door with their parents they looked back at me and ran down the hall to give me a kiss and a cuddle. Now, how about that for a start to the day? These two little angels filled my heart with joy for the day ahead. Their generosity and unconditional love will fill me with warmth, a warmth that enables me to recognise the blessings that are all around me and that will continue to increase. This love is all around us. Are we awake to it? The light of love from a child is like a morning star which can live in the hearts of us all. In bygone days at home we always grace before and after meals, a thanksgiving for the food. We should not forget these practices as there are people starving around the world who would be very happy to say thanks for their food, for the people who grow, supply and deliver to us in all weather.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. On these dark, wet, winter mornings I look out my window of wonder and brace myself for the morning ahead. After my prayers and meditation I have a healthy breakfast with food from the farm and I give thanks for all the people involved who helped me have an enjoyable breakfast. In bygone days at home we always grace before and after meals, a thanksgiving for the food. We should not forget these practices as there are people starving around the world who would be very happy to say thanks for their food, for the people who grow, supply and deliver to us in all weather. Blessed are we for such people. Say a prayer for them always when you sit and enjoy your meals. When we are mindful we have a much more meaningful experience and we will feel happier. We are all well aware that death does not mean separation of spirit. It is the unity of the spirits in a mysterious way. My parents would always say that the dead are nearer to us than you think and are closer to us in spirit than they were when they were alive and I really feel and believe this to be true and it makes me feel really relaxed, protected and supported.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. All during this month we are remembering our past relatives and friends, praying for them, visiting their place of rest and listening to their messages as they sit right beside us.
