The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary 317

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 27 of our latest lock down. This morning the neighbourhood is cold with the winter freeze but soon we will experience the death of winter and the birth of spring, but also this morning in Ballinwillin we mourn the death and passing of Joe Mulcahy our neighbour, a legend in the music business and a founding member of the famous Maurice Mulcahy Band. A band that gave huge enjoyment to thousands of people worldwide. This morning our prayers are with his family, friends and neighbours. Now destiny calls Joe to a place of music where his trumpet will sound again for all our spiritual enjoyment, where his heart will always remain generous, all heavenly doors will open to his musical light as you now quietly befriend your death and you have no need to fear. You are among your own orchestra in the big band with your pure white suit you are now equal to your destiny and nearer to Earths heart. Rest in peace Joe. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your smile.

It is important to make new friends but it is also important to keep the old. My Mam always said "one is silver and the other is gold". It is all up to you out there to follow this advice.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. The Mindful Farmer is very happy this morning having celebrated and honoured the feast of St. John last night. A wonderful evening was had by all. We had some new friends and some old friends. Yesterday I was fortunate enough to meet an old friend from home who has devoted their life to the foreign missions and caring and looking after the more vulnerable in society. She said that the most important part of her job was to listen to people and hear about all their problems and needs and never judge them and to help them rediscover their self esteem, self respect, pride and dignity and this will lead to them self empowering.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Another beautiful morning here at Ballinwillin House. She said that most of all they need acceptance. The greatest blessing to them is a pleasant friend. Great advice from a person who has devoted their life to helping less privileged people. It is up to us all to be that pleasant friend. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your Tuesday smile.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Today is a very special day when the sun appears highest in the sky. Back in the day, people always said the longest day of the year was also the hottest so we will see. It is also referred to as the midpoint of the growing season and always at home back in West Limerick we always celebrated with a roast pig on a spit, feasting, dancing, singing and being happy. Bonfires were lit at cross roads and people always washed their faces with the morning dew. So today, do something to celebrate this great day and be happy, enjoy and do something you and your family will remember. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your solstice smile.

I feel God is speaking to me and us all in moments like these where He has taken up residence and along with our spiritual ancestors. We can all find these magic moments when we are quiet and in peace. We just need to sharpen our spiritual eyesight and hearing and when you do so you find these moments becoming more fragrant.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Today again we have a beautiful Sunday and as I walk with you around the garden the gentle breeze wafts the perfume of the roses through my nostrils that refreshes and delights me. Seek and ye shall find. Today on this restful, beautiful Sunday be peaceful, be mindful and wear your Sunday smile.

If our actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more then you are making your mark on the world and making it a better place for everyone in it

Good afternoon and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Today as I was walking the fields my thoughts fled towards the memory of my Grand Uncle Jack again and another one of his famous sayings. He said "Patrick, if our actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more then you are making your mark on the world and making it a better place for everyone in it." Wise words again Jack. Words to inspire us all. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.

It Is important for us all to be ready for this change and not stay in the one space or place either physically or emotionally forever. We must all allow ourselves a little time to meander and feel free and to set our minds, bodies and souls free.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Today I would like to speak to you about rivers and my experience of their influence on my life from early childhood. Rivers always meander but weather and geological conditions inevitably mean that most rivers have flowed in a dazzling variety of paths. Many of our ancient people always lived by rivers and learned to go with the flow and live the life of change and they were willing to change. We all know that change is always only around the corner in all our lives. It Is important for us all to be ready for this change and not stay in the one space or place either physically or emotionally forever. We must all allow ourselves a little time to meander and feel free and to set our minds, bodies and souls free. So today, feel free, be free. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your Friday smile.

When you turn and nurse this beautiful product for five days and rain just makes a perfect product into an ordinary product and I only want the best for my animals so that the flavour of the meadow shines through in all our meat products, fresh from the soil to society.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. The Mindful Farmer is very happy today. We finished our hay making season yesterday evening at 4pm and at 4.30pm we had our first rain in 5 days, my nerves and the power of prayer. When you turn and nurse this beautiful product for five days and rain just makes a perfect product into an ordinary product and I only want the best for my animals so that the flavour of the meadow shines through in all our meat products, fresh from the soil to society. We are so proud of what we do. Thanks to a great team who made all this possible and bless the air and the wind in the breeze. May all our souls stay in the rhythm of Mother Nature who holds the eternal breath. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your Wednesday smile.

When we have learned the art of acquiring peace it is only then that we see the true value that this world has to offer. Peace is loving faith at rest.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. As The Mindful Farmer sits here this morning in the peace and tranquility of my beautiful surroundings I think of the value of this peace in a restless world that is often surrounded by trouble and difficulties. Families will always wear this absence like a secret pocket in their hearts and will always wonder why such a beautiful, young soul was taken home so soon. It is time to let the silent tear flow and when your eyes are clear you will glimpse your eternal child, now an unseen angel, who cuddles and protects your mind, body and soul.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. This morning I am going to urge you all to pray for the many people who have lost loved ones during this pandemic and particularly for the families who have lost babies and young children. Every child awakens the wonder in everyone around them as new waves of love always keep surprising your soul. Last night as I watched Andrea Bocelli, the amazing Italian tenor, sing The Our Father and the Hail Mary. If I ever had any doubt about God our Father and Mary our Mother, and all our fathers and mothers, they were certainly awakened to the wonder and truth of our lives.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Today on this beautiful Thursday morning I want to relate to you an awe inspiring series of moments last night as I watched Andrea Bocelli, the amazing Italian tenor, sing The Our Father and the Hail Mary. If I ever had any doubt about God our Father and Mary our Mother, and all our fathers and mothers, they were certainly awakened to the wonder and truth of our lives. This wonderful music set my heart free, filled it to ovefflow with happiness and joy and my wish for you all today is that the happiness that I experienced last night will flow to soften the hard hearts of troubled people and that we all have the health to enjoy who we want to be and that we have the mind to mirror our mystery while we are here. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and listen to the music that is always playing in your heart and wear your Thursday smile.

When we first purchased Ballinwillin House Farm we had a lot of work to do in order to bring it back to life and we set about our work diligently where the hands of The Mindful Farmer had first to work creating clearences in the earths thickets, cutting into the thorns of wild briar and forest, uprooting clusters of wild brush and shrub, digging out lose rocks until fields emerged again.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. When we first purchased Ballinwillin House Farm we had a lot of work to do in order to bring it back to life and we set about our work diligently where the hands of The Mindful Farmer had first to work creating clearences in the earths thickets, cutting into the thorns of wild briar and forest, uprooting clusters of wild brush and shrub, digging out loose rocks until fields emerged again. I then loosened and softened the clay where seeds could bring forth crops and grass again and then the harvests gathered again and again with golden corn and honey scented hay. Now the fields have become presences where the farm and gardens can trust the warm and true intentions of the farmers heart, hands and mind to form a domain of shelter and nourishment for all to enjoy. What can I do? 1) I can listen. 2) I can pray for them. 3) I can send healing to them. 4) I can tell them what I do when I get overcome by an issue.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Many times in a day, in a week, I receive calls from people who are suffering from anxiety and worry and all these situations disable people from having normal lives. What can I do? 1) I can listen. 2) I can pray for them. 3) I can send healing to them. 4) I can tell them what I do when I get overcome by an issue. I write them down and then place them at the feet of Jesus and Mary and all my spiritual ancestors who have passed and are looking after me, my family, friends and people who I pray for. Every morning I write in biro on my left hand IT YJ. I Trust You Jesus. There are simple ways I deal with problems and it has become a habit and it works reasonably well. Nothing works all the time and we all know that if we live long enough. So today, pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and listen to someone who has a problem, it helps a lot. Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. The Mindful Farmer is in good form this morning. Guests are beginning to come through the gates again at Ballinwillin House and it lifts all our spirits here.
