The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary 317

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 27 of our latest lock down. This morning the neighbourhood is cold with the winter freeze but soon we will experience the death of winter and the birth of spring, but also this morning in Ballinwillin we mourn the death and passing of Joe Mulcahy our neighbour, a legend in the music business and a founding member of the famous Maurice Mulcahy Band. A band that gave huge enjoyment to thousands of people worldwide. This morning our prayers are with his family, friends and neighbours. Now destiny calls Joe to a place of music where his trumpet will sound again for all our spiritual enjoyment, where his heart will always remain generous, all heavenly doors will open to his musical light as you now quietly befriend your death and you have no need to fear. You are among your own orchestra in the big band with your pure white suit you are now equal to your destiny and nearer to Earths heart. Rest in peace Joe. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your smile.

Sunshine can illuminate our minds to see beauty and warms up our hearts to live life.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. What a beautiful morning we have here this morning. A clear blue sky lights up everything and when this happens that quiet light that shines in every heart beams up also. Sunshine can illuminate our minds to see beauty and warms up our hearts to live life. Sunshine has a very healthy influence on our body and brain and a very positive influence. Also, it enables us to flourish. Today, on this Saturday, I want you all to flourish in the sunshine and allow our dark roots to ascend into blossoms. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.

"lets build peace now." What a fabulous message to impart on children at that time and ever since it resonated with me.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. The main theme and subject of our RetrEats and coaching here at Ballinwillin House is "peace" and "building peace". My Grandmother Ellen, an absolutely fabulous lady, spoke every day about building peace. Whenever there was any discord with us grandchildren she would gather us around her and whisper to us "lets build peace now." What a fabulous message to impart on children at that time and ever since it resonated with me. It is a huge word and well worth paying attention to and praying for as many people spend their lifetime trying to achieve peace but peace has to be built just like any structure, brick by brick and good people actively make it happen .So for today and onwards why not focus on being peace builders - the world needs our help. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Thursday smile.

They were always interested in each other and interesting to listen to too. They walked and talked their secret paths and could only be reached when they wanted to be. I believe we can all take a lesson from these great people, our wise ancestors.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. Grand Uncle Jack used to say "never live too long where you can be reached." This was another one of his wisdom quotations which can have a deep and meaningful wisdom. Back in the day in West Limerick people always took time out where they would visit friends or relations either on foot or by cycling. Not many cars in those days just the chosen and wealthy few. When people let their home to go to and take time out they journied for miles, taking in the scenery and beauty of nature, stopped talking to people along the way and paid attention to the people they were visiting with, no distractions. They were in the now and that is where you want to be when you are in anothers company. In these times people hadn't much material wealth but they had plenty of time for reflection and philosophising. They were always interested in each other and interesting to listen to too. They walked and talked their secret paths and could only be reached when they wanted to be. I believe we can all take a lesson from these great people, our wise ancestors. There is always something beautiful and eternal happening when we are in silence and we see God in every moment and when we do so we also see ourselves and one life with clarity and purity.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. Today is a day for serious thanksgiving. Our baby Elayne was back in hospital again yesterday for more procedures for her ongoing condition but the news is not bad news. It is best described as sustainable for the condition and we are grateful for this. I spent a lot of time in the Cathedral in Galway which is near to the hospital. It is a magnificent building and the ornate internal decor is just magnificent. I found great peace there and could have stayed there all day. I certainly felt listened to there and the peace was just beautiful. I was able to find the peace to tell me that I am never alone and my heart and soul in their brightness and belonging were connecting me intimately with the rhythm of the universe and this very Holy place and temple of God. In moments like these you realise that the shape of your soul is unique and we all have a special destiny here, There is always something beautiful and eternal happening when we are in silence and we see God in every moment and when we do so we also see ourselves and one life with clarity and purity. No matter how life challenges us we must believe we are not alone so continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Tuesday smile.

When you have near and dear friends there will never be distance between our hearts. There will only be kindness, passion and belonging. We will never be isolated, alone or lonely within the embrace of our dear friends.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. Another Monday and what a weekend of sport we have had. Firstly, Kilkenny versus Clare , an easy win for Kilkenny. Then yesterday we had Limerick versus Galway, great friendly rivals and I had the pleasure of watching my native Limerick go just over the line from a gallant and skillful Galway team in the camp of Sal and her family and friends and I can tell you it was nearly as physical as being in Croke Park. I am blessed with such friends and we all meet up this time of year for the hurling and football semi finals and finals. When you have near and dear friends there will never be distance between our hearts. There will only be kindness, passion and belonging. We will never be isolated, alone or lonely within the embrace of our dear friends. May God bless you all, Sal and team, for your truth of heart and warmth of soul. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Monday smile.

I am very thankful for her safe return and for the moment of happiness we have shared in the past and look forward to many more shared moments of joy in the future.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. The Mindful Farmer is feeling very happy today as I made the early morning journey to Dublin airport to collect our baby Elayne on her return from Abu Dhabi for her summer holidays from teaching. We all know there is chaos at the airports at the moment but not even the airport chaos could dim the joy that I was feeling on her return and to exchange that hug and embrace to fill each other's heart and soul and rekindle and awaken the wonderful joy that a child fills your heart with. Her kindness was always near but now I can see and feel it. Today, it is time to celebrate and let all intentions and worries melt away and free the joy that this return has brought. I am very thankful for her safe return and for the moment of happiness we have shared in the past and look forward to many more shared moments of joy in the future. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Sunday best smile.

If we take a little time in the morning or in the evening or both, just to slow down and sit down and just look at all this beauty then the fullness of the summer will fill us with gratitude and thankfulness for this wonderful blessing.

Good morning everyone and welcome to the views from my window of wonder this morning. As you can see the fullness and the beauty of all the gardens is a blessing for the soul. It is the season of plenty and Mother Nature is generous with her delights. It is also the season that is busiest in the garden and on the farm. So much to do and yet if we spend all our time working we won't be able to sit and enjoy the nature and sweetness that abounds around us. If we take a little time in the morning or in the evening or both, just to slow down and sit down and just look at all this beauty then the fullness of the summer will fill us with gratitude and thankfulness for this wonderful blessing. To bless is to honour, to honour is to celebrate, to celebrate is to experience joy and to experience joy is to give thanks. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Saturday gardening smile.

Think positivity for July and awards and the universe will respond to us in the same manner. Be happy, be thankful

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. Last evening I had a meeting with a great friend who was really feeling down and in bad form due to a problem in his business. When we talked it through the problem was solvable over time and remanagement, this in my opinion was not failure and I emphasised this to him. Failure in my opinion doesn't exist. It is a redirection people see their problems and mistakes as stumbling blocks to fall over. We must see them as stepping stones to sucess. Think positivity for July and awards and the universe will respond to us in the same manner. Be happy, be thankful and continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Friday smile.

It is never too late to be what we might have been. Be grateful for what we have and through this appreciation new growth and peace will flourish.

We are at the end of another month and it was a great month for us all here at Ballinwillin House. The place looks wonderful, the harvest is complete, all animal and bird life seems very happy, the roses are splendid and most importantly the family are well. We are happy with this vision God has created for us during this month. For many of us it is difficult for many reasons for our hearts to remain open but nonetheless God will still always draw us to a place where our hearts and spirit are nourished and to another place where our souls are free. Granduncle Jack used to say late in his life "We must be willing to get rid of the life we have planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us" and he lived to the great age of 98. It is never too late to be what we might have been. Be grateful for what we have and through this appreciation new growth and peace will flourish. Many if not most of the most beautiful things in the world are far too expensive for us to afford but the beauty of this creation before me today and every day is free for the taking.

Good morning everyone and welcome once again to views from my window of wonder. It is a beautiful morning to be alive. The sun is up early, birds singing, roses blooming and perfuming inner peace radiating. There is always delight in my mind, face and body when I visit the garden. It is my morning ritual and what joy it brings to me daily. Many if not most of the most beautiful things in the world are far too expensive for us to afford but the beauty of this creation before me today and every day is free for the taking. Were it not for love and creation in my heart it would not be possible either to create or enjoy. We can all create a beautiful garden either in reality or virtually so go and do it and continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and radiate unconditional love around you and don't forget to wear your Wednesday smile.

"The ability to observe without evaluating is the highest form of intelligence. Peace brings beautiful moments and beautiful wisdom."

Good morning everyone. A windy, stormy morning here this morning and of course yesterday, storms raging wind and everything Mother Nature threw at us. The Mindful Farmer decided to take the long trip to Knock shrine in Co. Mayo, something I like to do every year after the harvest and to give thanks for all my blessings and to pray to God and Mary His Mother for His embalming safety for the year ahead for me, my family, my colleagues and friends. While I was sitting there in the basilica and saying my prayer, two sayings from my Granduncle Jack came rushing to my mind "He who has freed himself from the disease of tomorrow has a chance to attain what he came here for." For me of course peace was my instant thought and then his next one came flashing in "The ability to observe without evaluating is the highest form of intelligence. Peace brings beautiful moments and beautiful wisdom." Jack a simple man had all these fostered by the peace I felt in my mind and heart at the Knock shrine yesterday. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Tuesday smile.

A good hug can have amazing and wonderful remedies. It can ease depression, reduce stress and send wonderful healing through your mind and body.

Good morning everyone and welcome to this new week ahead and be sure to give yourself the very best chance for it to be a great week. This morning while out for a morning walking experience by the sea in Connemara I met, by chance, a very dear and old friend. We embraced and gave each other what seemed like a timeless hug. A good hug can have amazing and wonderful remedies. It can ease depression, reduce stress and send wonderful healing through your mind and body. It is a miracle drug and has no unpleasant side effects. It certainly set me up for my day and I am sure my great friend Noel will say the same. Give someone a hug today and give everyone you know a virtual hug today. It is like Mother Nature and fresh air - the best medicine. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Monday smile.

" Prine of peace I need you. Take charge, I need comfort and courage that comes from your spirit. Ket me find you in a quiet place where I can hear your heartbeat and feel secure. Amen.”

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. I would like to welcome you all to join me on my peace walk this beautiful Sunday morning. Having suffered greatly over the past 36 hours The Mindful Farmer is back walking again and by the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Not at a fast pace but at a pace that I can absorb the beauty of Mother Nature as she circles around me. On my left hand side are the grey rocks, much older and wiser than me. They are safely clothed with brown seaweed to draw and melt them towards the ocean which is driving and raging but with absolute beauty as it forces its spray high into the morning sky as I move along the rain sodden neighbouring land head. The raging wind nourishes my face and clears my mind. The plentiful bird life don't seem to appreciate this stormy wind but the fattening lambs are bleetingly happy as they are nourished by their mothers milk and the sheltering high rocks further up the headland. I met my great friend, the white Connemara pony and her beautiful speckled baby foal and this time I exchanged meaningful hugs with both of them. For many years now I have had this very meaningful and loving relationship with this lady and as I am nearing my walks end I feel very blessed with joy that Mother Nature has served up this morning on my peace walk and even though the wind and sea was raging so too was peace raging tranquility in my mind. Now I would like to send you a beautiful little prayer my Mam taught me "Prince of peace I need you. Take charge, I need comfort and courage that comes from your spirit. Let me find you in a quiet place where I can hear your heartbeat and feel secure. Amen.” Continue to pray, bless, power healing and peace to all who need it and wear your Sunday smile.

Each new day offers a field of brightness and each and every one of us is an artist of our own day and creation.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. Well, The Mindful Farmer is feeling battered and bruised this morning. Yesterday I received my second booster for the Corona virus, the Moderna one. The lovely, kind lady Catherine who administered the injection said after a while your arm will feel very sore. She sure was right. 6pm the pain set in and I couldn't lift my arm or lie on it and then I began to feel flu-like symptoms, sweating and shivering and this had continued well into today. I hope and pray it eases off as the day goes on. We all have a duty to accept each new day as an invitation. Each new day offers a field of brightness and each and every one of us is an artist of our own day and creation. The greater our belief, our integrity and awareness the more original and creative our time will become and pain and suffering will melt away. That is what I am praying for this day and that my pain and suffering will melt away. Continue to pray all of you out there and send blessing, peace, health and hope to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.

It is in living life like this we can be who we are really meant to be. Live by faith and not by sight, hold God's hand and trust and walk along merrily on the path of peace.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. We are very happy and grateful here this morning. Our harvest is complete and all dry and safely in the barn. Wonderful golden hay for the nourishment of the animals over the winter;. But it is not just the harvest. It is all the joy of the work to do with it and when all the family are involved, grandchildren, children and grandparents, it makes the entire work of the harvest full and wholesome whereby everyone involved learns how beautiful this time of year is and how happy we all can be when we work and live in the moment. It is in living life like this we can be who we are really meant to be. Live by faith and not by sight, hold God's hand and trust and walk along merrily on the path of peace. What is fact is that some of the greatest minds in history have used this power of peace to transcend their limitations and achieve extraordinary results.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to the place and hope of The Mindful Farmer and peace coach. What I would like to mention to you all out there is the heads up on my forthcoming RetrEats and peace coaching. What we will do together is I will guide you on the path of peace and then onto the road of peace and into the peace retreat of your home in your heart and soul. In this peace, your inner peace, your soul, will move along the pathway in a clearer light and what seems elusive and unattainable now resolves itself into crystal clarity. What is fact is that some of the greatest minds in history have used this power of peace to transcend their limitations and achieve extraordinary results. Now is your opportunity to welcome the peace of an undisturbed hour and smell the scent of the rose as it opens its flower. Smell the roses and continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Thursday smile.

we all have a duty to love, praise and encourage the baby who lives in all of us to rise to the surface and flourish.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. It is another beautiful summer morning here this morning. At breakfast this morning and sitting outside it was a beautiful experience. One of our American guests was relating to us about a very pleasant experience they had in a restaurant yesterday and the lovely, kind waitress that served them. Another guest entered the conversation by saying she must have lovely parents and then the discussion took a route of its own as it often does. When they all finished their food and went on their holiday ways I had a little discussion with the team here and we all agreed that if we could read, know and understand the secret history of the people we meet daily then we could find a way into each person's sorrow, suffering and even happiness and learn enough to disarm all hostility and further all happiness and peace. Here is my thought for the day - we all have a duty to love, praise and encourage the baby who lives in all of us to rise to the surface and flourish. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Wednesday smile.

On this day every year I make a point of taking three hours in silence, usually in the evening time. During this time I give thanks for the past 172 days and in my state of silence I welcome peace in, then my soul finds its path in a clearer light and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clarity.

Good morning all and welcome once again to news from my window of wonder. Today is always a much celebrated day all over the world as it is the longest day of the year. The sun is at its highest point over the earths axis. On this day every year I make a point of taking three hours in silence, usually in the evening time. During this time I give thanks for the past 172 days and in my state of silence I welcome peace in, then my soul finds its path in a clearer light and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clarity. One can learn more during this time in silence than in a full year of reading as many books as one can. During this time of silence and meditation I reflect, I give thanks and I pray profoundly for everyone that needs help. I send blessings and healings, peace and hope to all who need it and then I return to my world of peace. I hope you all find your peace on this lovely, special day. Have a wonderful, mindful, peaceful day and wear your smile.
