The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary 317

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 27 of our latest lock down. This morning the neighbourhood is cold with the winter freeze but soon we will experience the death of winter and the birth of spring, but also this morning in Ballinwillin we mourn the death and passing of Joe Mulcahy our neighbour, a legend in the music business and a founding member of the famous Maurice Mulcahy Band. A band that gave huge enjoyment to thousands of people worldwide. This morning our prayers are with his family, friends and neighbours. Now destiny calls Joe to a place of music where his trumpet will sound again for all our spiritual enjoyment, where his heart will always remain generous, all heavenly doors will open to his musical light as you now quietly befriend your death and you have no need to fear. You are among your own orchestra in the big band with your pure white suit you are now equal to your destiny and nearer to Earths heart. Rest in peace Joe. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your smile.

The day is just beginning. It is nice, quiet and peaceful and you may have a moment to yourself and instead of getting out of bed and going into auto pilot and rushing around, sit for just a few minutes. "Think" about being thoughtful for the day and just let yourself be at peace and fully present where ever you sit.

"Think" about being thoughtful for the day and just let yourself be at peace and fully present where ever you sit. Take deep breaths and concentrate on the breaths. 1, 2, 3, 4 ,5 in and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 out. Repeat as often as you are comfortable doing so. This little process will get you into a mindfulness state for the day and put your mind at comfort. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your Thursday smile.

I love to see lights at night that are on the hills as I drive along the road and I often wonder about the people in the houses in the distant hills and then as I approach our home at Ballinwillin, I smile a smile of homecoming as there are no lights like the lights of home

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. It is often said that there is no place like home and how true this is. I love to see lights at night that are on the hills as I drive along the road and I often wonder about the people in the houses in the distant hills and then as I approach our home at Ballinwillin, I smile a smile of homecoming as there are no lights like the lights of home and no place to make a difference than at home and it gives us all the opportunity to shine where we live and where your loved ones are. So today and every day, shine a light on your home and make a difference there. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it.

In modern life everyone seems to talk about people and what they do for a living but what really matters is who we are and the importance of knowing who we are.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. In modern life everyone seems to talk about people and what they do for a living but what really matters is who we are and the importance of knowing who we are. Many people go through life not even beginning to know who they are or ask themselves that question. The first step in the right direction, I believe, is coming to fully accept and love all parts of yourself, yet the biggest challenge most of us face is to full accept who we are right now. To know that you are enough and to know that is the perfect starting point from which you can create any future. Don't spend too long waiting before you begin to live your new life or by saying I will when this, that or the other. We often forget that things on the outside don't actually change how we feel on the inside. So from today onward love and accept yourself fully and the rest will follow and flourish. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your smile.

if you make someone happy today, no matter how small or big the gesture, the memory will always remain with them, even in their subconscious.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. I was speaking yesterday to a very wise person and he asked me what does it take to make mankind happy but before I could make an effort to answer he helped me out and said "mankind is always happier for being happy" and if you make someone happy today, no matter how small or big the gesture, the memory will always remain with them, even in their subconscious. So today and every day make the effort to spread a little happiness in someones life - you will be well rewarded for doing so. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your Monday smile.

JJ and Ada, our two beautiful grandchildren were everywhere with me. Feeding the goats, deer and young wild boar, helping me weed in the garden and also helped me washing the cars and by the end of the exercise had both of them washing themselves. This ended with them needing a complete change of clothes but it was great fun and I could not help be empowered by the strength of their trusting little hands, so gentle, so soft yet so powerful

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre.. Another beautiful morning here this Sunday morning. Well The Mindful Farmer had a great day yesterday. JJ and Ada, our two beautiful grandchildren were everywhere with me. Feeding the goats, deer and young wild boar, helping me weed in the garden and also helped me washing the cars and by the end of the exercise had both of them washing themselves. This ended with them needing a complete change of clothes but it was great fun and I could not help be empowered by the strength of their trusting little hands, so gentle, so soft yet so powerful and then I thought to myself again "it is so important to give our attention to them now and when you do you will find peace and happiness everywhere". Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your Sunday smile.

All will be well with the world and if we pray enough we will shed all the tensions and anxiety of this pandemic and leave them aside long enough to breathe and relax to meditate to see all this beauty that is around us.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. The weather has broken here at Ballinwillin House and we are welcoming some lovely soft rain but we all know that over all the years God will send us enough days to convince us that all will be well with the world and if we pray enough we will shed all the tensions and anxiety of this pandemic and leave them aside long enough to breathe and relax to meditate to see all this beauty that is around us. Summer sun and long peaceful days is our medicine for all that ails us. When the sun is beaming down on us and at nature, then I think to myself how blessed we are on this beautiful island of ours to have such beauty and to have the health to enjoy it all.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Last evening and again this morning The Mindful Farmer has been out and about in the gardens and in the fields doing some small jobs that make a difference to the house, farm and gardens and I suppose in reality helping nature attain its outstanding beauty. When the sun is beaming down on us and at nature, then I think to myself how blessed we are on this beautiful island of ours to have such beauty and to have the health to enjoy it all. Also yesterday The Mindful Farmers writing hand in The Farmers Journal paid tribute to nature and our ancestors who have paved the way for us to enjoy this nature and my wish for you all today is that you arise each day with a voice of blessings whispering in your hearts and that you all find harmony between your soul and your heart and in your life today. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your Friday smile.

We all need to pray diligently to prevent another lock down and melt down for our little country.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Today is the beginning of another month, halfway through the year. There is a lot going on at present at government level, Covid threatening again, pubs and restaurants not allowed to open up inside and many businesses not knowing what to do or where to turn to. My prayer for our leaders today is that their leadership will awaken and that they will have the wisdom to read time and events clearly and to have the vision to recognise the seed of change enabling us to flourish once again and that their work will be infused with passion and creativity. We all need to pray diligently to prevent another lock down and melt down for our little country. So, continue with the prayers, continue to bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your Thursday smile.

It almost transmits through the phone and when this amazing light and breath of fragrance awakens my senses this morning my wish is that the beauty that I am witnessing here at Ballinwillin House today will anoint all your eyes with happiness and wonder and if I may transmit this beautiful experience so that it will sleep lightly within all your hearts today.

Anxiety stems from asking the wrong questions like "if such a thing happens, how will I handle it?" The real question is not whether you can cope with whatever happens but whether you and God above can handle anything that occurs. The great comfort with this combination is the "together factor" to give us all the confidence to face each day confidently and cheerfully.

We must be willing to get rid of life we have planned so that we can live the life that is waiting for us

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Another beautiful Sunday morning this morning as I look out my window of wonder. Yesterday I was speaking with someone who had great business plans for the next 5 - 10 years and then Covid struck. This person very calmly said to me "thats life now and we must be willing to get rid of life we have planned so that we can live the life that is waiting for us." I thought that these were very wise words indeed. So for today, pray for that life and send blessings and power healing to all that need it and wear your Sunday best smile.

a friend in need is a friend indeed

Good afternoon everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. The Mindful Farmer was travelling a long distance yesterday with his jeep and trailer and got a complete breakdown electrically with my Hilux. I called up my friend in the area and within 10 minutes he was there with his jeep, hooked up my trailer and got my jeep taken into a local garage. I meet this friend maybe four times a year but I recalled the old saying "a friend in need is a friend indeed." My Mom gave me a note when I was a child and I still remember its lines "he who is a friend will help you when you are in need. If in sorrow, he will weep, if you wake he will not sleep and for every grief of heart he will bear his part" and of course he can also mean she and maybe more so. When I would read this note my Mam would say that it is important to know a faithful friend from a flattering foe. She would then say there are signs to know. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it.

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to meet an old friend from home who has devoted their life to the foreign missions and caring and looking after the more vulnerable in society. She said that the most important part of her job was to listen to people and hear about all their problems and needs and never judge them and to help them rediscover their self esteem, self respect, pride and dignity and this will lead to them self empowering.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Today is a very special day when the sun appears highest in the sky. Back in the day, people always said the longest day of the year was also the hottest so we will see. It is also referred to as the midpoint of the growing season and always at home back in West Limerick we always celebrated with a roast pig on a spit, feasting, dancing, singing and being happy. Bonfires were lit at cross roads and people always washed their faces with the morning dew. So today, do something to celebrate this great day and be happy, enjoy and do something you and your family will remember. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your solstice smile.

I feel God is speaking to me and us all in moments like these where He has taken up residence and along with our spiritual ancestors. Good afternoon everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. If our actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more then you are making your mark on the world and making it a better place for everyone in it

Good afternoon and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre. Today as I was walking the fields my thoughts fled towards the memory of my Grand Uncle Jack again and another one of his famous sayings. He said "Patrick, if our actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more then you are making your mark on the world and making it a better place for everyone in it." Wise words again Jack. Words to inspire us all. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your Saturday smile.
