The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary 317

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 27 of our latest lock down. This morning the neighbourhood is cold with the winter freeze but soon we will experience the death of winter and the birth of spring, but also this morning in Ballinwillin we mourn the death and passing of Joe Mulcahy our neighbour, a legend in the music business and a founding member of the famous Maurice Mulcahy Band. A band that gave huge enjoyment to thousands of people worldwide. This morning our prayers are with his family, friends and neighbours. Now destiny calls Joe to a place of music where his trumpet will sound again for all our spiritual enjoyment, where his heart will always remain generous, all heavenly doors will open to his musical light as you now quietly befriend your death and you have no need to fear. You are among your own orchestra in the big band with your pure white suit you are now equal to your destiny and nearer to Earths heart. Rest in peace Joe. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your smile.

Real goodness, real peace is alwasys simple. Simplicity is so attractive and so peaceful , so profitable in a life sense. Isn't it strange that so few people are really simple and live a simple, peaceful life.

Today I see simplicity painted by the beauty of nature all around me and the beautiful people I live with, work with and socalize with. All very simple people but very powerful in the simplicity and attitude to life. They live in peace. Real goodness, real peace is alwasys simple. Simplicity is so attractive and so peaceful , so profitable in a life sense. Isn't it strange that so few people are really simple and live a simple, peaceful life. It is never too late. You are now clear of the uncertainty of the ground. Your favourite song, Shanagolden will ring out and now you are that eagle. Slan a Phadraic. Your grip and vice-like handshake will touch us every day.

Good morning all and welcome to The Mindful Farmers world for today. After an early rise and doing the morning chores, The Mindful Farmer will make the long journey back to Connemara for the returning of Padraic's remains to the faithful bowls of Mother Earth, while his spirit soars above like a golden eagle with his outstretched arms protecting all his nearest and dearest below. You are now clear of the uncertainty of the ground. Your favourite song, Shanagolden will ring out and now you are that eagle. Slan a Phadraic. Your grip and vice-like handshake will touch us every day. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Friday smile.

There is no greater friendship than that between one man and his dog.

Good morning again. Yesterday I commented on beautiful landscapes. Today I would like to comment on beautiful friendships. There is no greater friendship than that between one man and his dog. Marley and me, my trusted golden retriever. No matter what is going on in my life, his life or our life he always shows me unconditional love and gives amazing hugs. His eyes so blue, his heart so true. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Thursday smile.

Where is home? Home is where your heart is and today my heart is in Connemara

Good morning everyone and welcome to The Mindful Farmers home again today. Where is home? Home is where your heart is and today my heart is in Connemara and it raises the question "is there anywhere else in the world more beautiful than Connemara?" This morning on my walk, the breath of light awakens the beautiful colour in the amazing landscape and my eyes are anointed with the wonder through my window of wonder. It is not a strange place to you, merely backto where you never really left. May your soul smile in the embrace of your Anam Cara and in the lake below your house the quiet reflection of your life’s work, kindness and rugged beauty will be rippled by the tears that will fall for you.Slán go foil a Padraic. You have left an imprint on this earth as you will inheaven. Look after us all in your big, powerful, spiritual embrace.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to The Mindful Farmers place of peace. The Mindful Farmers heart is heavy this morning. I have just learnt of the passing of my dear and trusted friend Padraic Molloy from Connemara. I have known this man for over 40 years. What a man, an island man, a man of the era. A poet, a writer and a comedian, a wonderful stone mason and he himself hewn from the rock. With his wife, the beautiful Barbara, he raised a fantastic family and now many grandchildren. His most recent love was the Dexter cows and then there was the magical wedding in Malta where we all had great fun in the heat and Padriac praying for snow to cool us down. Mother Earth and his proud homeland of Connemara have lost a beautiful man and now the gates of heaven spring open to welcome you to your new home. It is not a strange place to you, merely back to where you never really left. May your soul smile in the embrace of your Anam Cara and in the lake below your house the quiet reflection of your life’s work, kindness and rugged beauty will be rippled by the tears that will fall for you. Slán go foil a Padraic. You have left an imprint on this earth as you will in heaven. Look after us all in your big, powerful, spiritual embrace.

Rest is so important. Peace is ultimately important and when we relax it is not idleness, we relax in the company of God and nature.

Good morning everyone and welcome. The Mindful Farmer was out early today doing his usual morning meditation, washing his face in the morning dew and then sitting for a while to inhale the beauty and full benefits of nature. Rest is so important. Peace is ultimately important and when we relax it is not idleness, we relax in the company of God and nature. When we trust in the direction of our life and the lives of our family and friends it has rich meanings and it shall be our strength. This is another fatal blow on top of closing down post offices, Garda stations, local creameries, rural shops and now the banks. Is it enough to cry? Is it enough to despair? We all have a part to play here. We have a lot before and nothing has happened.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to The Mindful Farmers place of peace. The Mindful Farmers cry for rural Ireland. I am sure you are all aware of the banking news yesterday that AIB is going to render seventy branches nationwide cashless outlets. Now, I must ask the question - what is this going to do for the great people of rural Ireland? What would our faithful ancestors think of this move? The people who over generations have fought and struggled to build our great island. Yesterday's action by this bank saw another bulb switched off in rural Ireland or should I saw - blown out. This is another fatal blow on top of closing down post offices, Garda stations, local creameries, rural shops and now the banks. Is it enough to cry? Is it enough to despair? We all have a part to play here. We have a lot before and nothing has happened. I am calling for us all to pray that the Minister responsible in this situation will be inspired to change whatever legislation is preventing him from acting here and let the recovery of rural Ireland begin. Too many people are too isolated, too many people are hurting. Lets all pray together and rebuild our country and all the sensible services that we once had. Meanwhile I will continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and let's all wear our Wednesday smile.

We miss them. We will continue to miss them until they return. It was a pleasure living with them for the past year but today we are unable to do anything. Our place is dull amidst the sunshine, our eyes are blurred with sadness but we are faithful and we will endure and we will all gather again with renewed and refined hearts and we welcome the speedy arrival of that new dawn.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. It is a sombre , quiet morning here this morning. Our son John, his darling wife Laura and our two fabulous grandchildren Ada Beth and JJ left for Melbourne in Australia to follow their work dreams and forward their ambitions for a better life. We did it and left the nest and we did return and so will they, please God. May God bless you all John, Laura, Ada Beth and JJ and keep you all safe under His sheltering wings of joy and happiness. Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. It is a busy Sunday morning here this morning. Firstly we had a full house in the bed and breakfast and then it was feeding time for all the animals, checking water troughs to ensure they all have water as the weather is very dry and hot. These special people always seem to have a sense of belonging much deeper than our modern world understands. They see their life as an act of creative service and full of blessings. It is up to us all to see spirituality not as routine as time is far too precious.

Good morning all and welcome once more to the thoughts of The Mindful Farmer and peace coach. Well, it is going back home day for us all, The Connemara wedding crew. What a wonderful, beautiful week of wedding celebrations we have had. We are grateful to God for the beautiful weather and keeping us all safe and will now guide us home safely. It was such a privilege to be in the company of these quiet country people. These special people always seem to have a sense of belonging much deeper than our modern world understands. Hold nothing back now, learn to find ease in risk and very soon you will be at home in a new rhythm and your hears and souls will sense the new world that awaits you.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to the wedding venue in Malta. This week we have had the pleasure of attending the wedding celebration and feast with Eoin and Ashling, our great and loyal friends from Connemara. The scene was set with the clear blue sky above and the glistening blue water beneath all else was a host of beautiful colours, flowers, ladies all dressed to please the Gods and the male folk following second best but doing their best. When I look around me my eyes only see friends but not only friends, loyal and faithful people with big deep hearts and these hearts recognise us all as Connamara "kin" whose kindness was always watchful and near when we first came to Carrig an Daimh. Their encouragement was always alive and near. It is now our time to pay complement for the gifts the years have brought us and that this fabulous couple and their two wonderful daughters and family will enjoy health, wealth and happiness into the future. This new beginning for you both has been quietly forming in the our of the way places of your heart, just waiting to emerge and awaken your spirit of love and adventure. Hold nothing back now, learn to find ease in risk and very soon you will be at home in a new rhythm and your hears and souls will sense the new world that awaits you. Have a wonderful, mindful, peaceful like and may Gods blessing and all of ours surrounding you keep you safe for all your life.

Good morning everyone and welcome this morning. The Mindful Farmer has a need to pray and pray and meditate to overcome a stressful night and situation and when I need help in situations like this I pray this prayer my Mam used to recite with me.

"Prince of peace, I need you. Take charge. I need the comfort and courage that comes from your spirit. Let me find you in this quiet place where I can hear and feel your heartbeat in one and in silence with me. It is now that I feel secure and at peace and I am very thankful.``

I thank God for my blessings and the peace and silence that allows my soul to find its own path to a clearer, brighter world where what was not obvious early today now resolves itself into crystal clearness

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. As I sit here in silence on this beautiful morning and I gaze from my window of wonder I see the sun dancing across the ocean waves in happiness, the light white foam sprays gentle on the nearby rocks and as I sit here I thank God for my blessings and the peace and silence that allows my soul to find its own path to a clearer, brighter world where what was not obvious early today now resolves itself into crystal clearness as demonstrated by the facing ocean. Granduncle Jack would say "Patrick, you can learn more in an hour of silence than you can in a year from reading books." Have a wonderful, peaceful Sunday and take time out for yourself in silence and continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace and hope to all who need it and wear your Sunday best smile.
