The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary 317

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, gardens and RetrEat centre on day 27 of our latest lock down. This morning the neighbourhood is cold with the winter freeze but soon we will experience the death of winter and the birth of spring, but also this morning in Ballinwillin we mourn the death and passing of Joe Mulcahy our neighbour, a legend in the music business and a founding member of the famous Maurice Mulcahy Band. A band that gave huge enjoyment to thousands of people worldwide. This morning our prayers are with his family, friends and neighbours. Now destiny calls Joe to a place of music where his trumpet will sound again for all our spiritual enjoyment, where his heart will always remain generous, all heavenly doors will open to his musical light as you now quietly befriend your death and you have no need to fear. You are among your own orchestra in the big band with your pure white suit you are now equal to your destiny and nearer to Earths heart. Rest in peace Joe. Continue to pray, bless and power healing to all who need it and wear your smile.

The Mindful Farmers Daily Diary Day 1226

During these times we can free our hearts and minds of worries, trials and tribulations and we can allow wonder into our lives. It is wonderful to see the gifts that this team has given us and it is equally wonderful that we have the health to enjoy with our friends and allow us to be who we are meant to be and where we are from and thank God for it all

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. Since Sunday The Mindful Farmer has been quietly celebrating Limericks most recent All Ireland hurling win against Kilkenny. Now, this is historic - four titles in a row and I think it is only reasonable that a young fellow with a young Limerick heart like me can celebrate such rare happenings. During these times we can free our hearts and minds of worries, trials and tribulations and we can allow wonder into our lives. It is wonderful to see the gifts that this team has given us and it is equally wonderful that we have the health to enjoy with our friends and allow us to be who we are meant to be and where we are from and thank God for it all and for our minds to mirror these miracles of mystery. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope and love to all and wear your Tuesday smile.

Smiles invite smiles, respect generates respect, gratitude evokes gratitude and a quiet and serene and peaceful attitude lessens stress and tension. We have plenty to ponder on for the week ahead and go forth and live the life that you would love

Being celts it is in our nature to be searching for surprises and our ancestors always possessed a refined sense of occasion for surprises. They also possessed a blessing for every possible happening

Good morning everyone and welcome. I am always entering the gardens and the fields expecting the unexpected flare of colour and isn't it a pure gift when we are surprised. To be surprised and being able to be surprised says we are alive with ourselves and in and with nature. Being celts it is in our nature to be searching for surprises and our ancestors always possessed a refined sense of occasion for surprises. They also possessed a blessing for every possible happening so on this relaxing Sunday in July, go out into nature, be surprised and continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope and love to all and wear your Sunday smile.

When I look up at the mountains this morning as they usher the rain in my direction one realises their permanence, a knowing of the conditions of wind and rain for millions of years before a human face had felt it.

Good morning everyone and welcome to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. It is a very wet July morning and it may not suit my plans for outdoor work today but the grass, trees, shrubs all seem to be thriving with intensity. There is something about the growing season that seems to lift us in mind, body and soul. When I look up at the mountains this morning as they usher the rain in my direction one realises their permanence, a knowing of the conditions of wind and rain for millions of years before a human face had felt it. Now, I feel blessed and privileged to have known this morning and this day. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope and love to all and wear your Saturday smile.

Grand Uncle Jack would always say that a sunny day lifts the heart and soothes the frown. It drives away the rain and cold and it coaxes us out doors again. Nice words for us all to contemplate and enjoy during a walk into nature

Good morning everyone and welcome. It is another day of welcome sunshine. Grand Uncle Jack would always say that a sunny day lifts the heart and soothes the frown. It drives away the rain and cold and it coaxes us out doors again. Nice words for us all to contemplate and enjoy during a walk into nature where we can pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope and love to all and wear your Friday smile.

When I look at this beautiful red belled fuschia gift and its unexpected flare of summer colour I know life is a pure and living gift filled with simple sights that seem worn and lost to the usual eye. It is up to us all to see with the unusual eye.

Good morning everyone and welcome. Last evening we had the pleasure of a surprise visitor who brought with them a beautiful plant as a gift. Our ability to be surprised can be a measure of how alive we are. Sometimes we take things for granted and sleepwalk through life but to those of us who are alive we can enjoy the wonderful experience of living life to the fullest. When I look at this beautiful red belled fuschia gift and its unexpected flare of summer colour I know life is a pure and living gift filled with simple sights that seem worn and lost to the usual eye. It is up to us all to see with the unusual eye. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope and love to all and wear your Wednesday smile.

The kindness experienced in this home allowed everyone who visited the opportunity to find harmony between their souls and their life and even this morning I felt the wild beauty of this special yet invisible world to gather around me and embrace me and let me know that the sanctuary of our souls and minds should never become haunted.

Good morning everyone and welcome. Well, last evening The Mindful Farmer was once again in the company of some fantastic people in Connemara where we were invited into a home of a great, great friend. This house was full of passion, kindness and belonging. The kindness experienced in this home allowed everyone who visited the opportunity to find harmony between their souls and their life and even this morning I felt the wild beauty of this special yet invisible world to gather around me and embrace me and let me know that the sanctuary of our souls and minds should never become haunted. I realised when I sat back and considered all that was said that only a few things really matter in life and the younger and earlier in life we are when we discover and understand this virtue then the better we and our lives will be.

Good morning everyone and welcome. Over this weekend many issues were discussed between family and friends at get-togethers but I realised when I sat back and considered all that was said that only a few things really matter in life and the younger and earlier in life we are when we discover and understand this virtue then the better we and our lives will be. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope and love to all and wear your Monday smile.

I could stop here myself but there was more to be done. I then thought to myself how wonderful this wildness was that I had to be so composed to remain upright that I darent think of anything else. These times are immense. No thoughts are worth thinking. We simply stand in shelter and let our souls be refreshed.

Good morning everyone and welcome to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. Earlier this morning while checking on cattle in Johns mountain the wind and the rain were so severe I could hardly stand up. The cattle were all snuggled up in the gorse cover. I could stop here myself but there was more to be done. I then thought to myself how wonderful this wildness was that I had to be so composed to remain upright that I darent think of anything else. These times are immense. No thoughts are worth thinking. We simply stand in shelter and let our souls be refreshed. "When I was a young boy like you God was but a speck in the far distance. Later on in years He was close enough when I needed him and I could hear Him whisper and sing in my ear and soon He said I will be able to see the love in His face". Off we went to check the cattle with a pep in my step and not worried anymore.

Good morning everyone and welcome. Firstly, thank you all for your prayers and good wishes yesterday for my friends who are ill. It is greatly appreciated and felt by all. Earlier this morning my mind took me back to a walk in the meadow with Grand Uncle Jack and he noticed my unusual silence and asked what was wrong. I replied, "I am sad and worried about you getting old." I was about ten years old at the time. His reply was as follows - "when I was a young boy like you God was but a speck in the far distance. Later on in years He was close enough when I needed him and I could hear Him whisper and sing in my ear and soon He said I will be able to see the love in His face". This morning I am asking you all to pray for the health of two very dear friends. These two people have given over 50 years of their life, expertise, compassion and love to many people who they served over this period of time. It is now their time to be looked after.

Good morning everyone and welcome to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. This morning I am asking you all to pray for the health of two very dear friends. These two people have given over 50 years of their life, expertise, compassion and love to many people who they served over this period of time. It is now their time to be looked after. Now is the time for us to help them deal with their dark invitation where their old life seems a distant past and before your eyes your future shrinks and nothing before has made you feel so isolated, lost and afraid. We pray today you will find the grace and strength to restore your balance and may it shape a space in your hearts to embrace this illness as a teacher who has come to open up your life to a host of new worlds/ We pray that you will learn to use this illness as a lantern to illuminate new qualities that will emerge in you and we will all pray and send blessings to you both and power healing into your bodies and minds and always wear your smiles.

This celebration should be fun and life giving but planned celebration is a way of honouring our family and friends in the most thoughtful way we can. We must always be fully aware that this is the day the Lord has made so let us rejoice and be glad in it

Good morning everyone and welcome. Earlier a stroll in the garden reminded me how this experience can change my perspective on the whole day, a day in which it is our duty to celebrate each day. This celebration should be fun and life giving but planned celebration is a way of honouring our family and friends in the most thoughtful way we can. We must always be fully aware that this is the day the Lord has made so let us rejoice and be glad in it and continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope and love to all and wear your Wednesday smile.

In this way a new journey can be forged beyond and outside of judgement and free oneself from their wounded gaze of their past. It is only then that the gifts of life can be earned and enjoyed and the past traumas will rest in peace behind the mirrors of mystery.

Good morning everyone and welcome once more to Ballinwillin House Farm , Gardens and RetrEat centre. It is the beginning of yet another week and over the weekend I had an encounter with some people who had experienced severe trauma in their lives but were prepared to enter a new life with open hearts from their complex and fragile situation. My advice was to treat all people with patience and respect and to tread softly over sore ground and in doing so fresh healing might be coaxed. In this way a new journey can be forged beyond and outside of judgement and free oneself from their wounded gaze of their past. It is only then that the gifts of life can be earned and enjoyed and the past traumas will rest in peace behind the mirrors of mystery. the heart is beautiful precisely because it is where God dwells and the heart is a divine sanctuary  not just on a Sunday but every day.

Good morning everyone and welcome to another Sunday morning. Earlier this morning I had the pleasure of sharing some moments in the gardens with a guest who has a deep interest in prayer, meditation and living a good and peaceful life. She had these wise words for me about the heart - "a compassionate heart need never carry the burden of judgement, a forgiving heart knows the art of liberation and a loving heart awakens the spirit to possibility and engagement with others." Beautiful and wise words for me on this Sunday morning and before she left my company she said the heart is beautiful precisely because it is where God dwells and the heart is a divine sanctuary  not just on a Sunday but every day. Continue to pray, bless, power healing, peace, hope and love to all and wear your Sunday smile.

When I am in their company I can feel the earth breathing with us together. I also feel I can walk on the earth with their confidence and clear eyed stillness and enjoy the wind on Johns mountain and also the light and now the rain as it falls softly on us.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome. Today I spent a lot of time in the fields with the animals, deer, cattle, goats and wild boar, moving them, feeding them, talking with them and I felt nearer to the heart of the earth in their company. As human beings we seldom manage to be where we are in the now whereas the animals always seem to be content gazing and grazing out from their here and now. When I am in their company I can feel the earth breathing with us together. I also feel I can walk on the earth with their confidence and clear eyed stillness and enjoy the wind on Johns mountain and also the light and now the rain as it falls softly on us. I felt sad for them as for months now they are building up their strength for their summer audition and suddenly nature sends a little tribulation called stormy weather to upset their day as it were. The same situation applies to our lives. We can start off in the morning full of energy, happiness and good will and suddenly something or someone will happen to upset us but then I come home to myself and all that is unlived in me will blossom into a future graced with love.

Good morning everyone and welcome to Ballinwillin House Farm, Gardens and RetrEat centre. This morning as I walked through the gardens and was dead heading the roses, many of them were drooped with the sadness and impact of the nights storm and heavy rain. Travel always transforms and educates us but when you travel home safely and refreshed more enriched and free and we all give thanks for the gift of your return, escorted in the safe company of your ancestral angels guiding, mending and embracing you. Today, on this very special day, my heart is bursting and full with joy.

Good morning everyone and welcome. Today is a great day of celebration at Ballinwillin House as earlier this morning I travelled to Dublin airport to collect our baby daughter Elayne from Abu Dhabi. She is home on holidays for the summer. On occasions such as these our hearts recognise family faces as kin and as is the case with Elayne. Her kindness is always watchful and near. Travel always transforms and educates us but when you travel home safely and refreshed more enriched and free and we all give thanks for the gift of your return, escorted in the safe company of your ancestral angels guiding, mending and embracing you.
